Clementine is a loving, calm, 5 year old English Bulldog mix who just wants to be cuddled! Clementine was abandoned on the streets and taken in by a good samaritan. She is now loving life with her foster family. Clementine is about 45lbs, is house trained, and gets along great with other dogs (big and small), all people, and kids. She isn’t destructive or nervous. She just likes to be where her people are. She is a typical English bulldog mix—she snores a little, drools a little, and is generally lazy, but loves people and just wants to snuggle all the time. She doesn’t need a lot of exercise, a walk around the block is about all she is up for. She just needs a home that can give her the attention she deserves.
We had her seen by our vet and she is perfectly healthy. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Clementine is an incredible dog and will bring a lot of love and joy into any home. She's so sweet and well behaved

SHELTER BOUND! These 2 bonded 2 yr old dogs will be dumped at the shelter if a foster or adopter is not found. They are healthy, happy miniature Poodles. FOSTER HOME NEEDED! Meet Willow! She's the kind of puppy who surprises everyone she meets. Sweet, gentle, and incredibly smart, she already knows sit, down, recall, and is eager to learn even more. She's remarkably well-mannered for her age, is crate trained, and has shown excellent house manners in foster care. Willow is small and weighs just 35 lbs. She walks nicely on a leash and is fine passing other dogs on a walk. Willow is literally the perfect young dog. She'd be appropriate for any family, including first time dog owners.

Willow is affectionate without being overwhelming and loves being near her people. She's very devoted and loving. Willow is the type of dog who thrives when given opportunities to learn, explore, and use her brain. Because shes so intelligent, shell do best with an adopter who enjoys training and can provide the mental and physical stimulation she needs to reach her full potential.

She is very calm and has not shown any tendency to jump fences, and doesn't have any destructive or hyper tendencies. Willow settles nicely in her crate, or will lay quietly by your side while you work. With continued guidance and structure, Willow is going to make an exceptional companion.

This little senior cutie was surrendered to a high kill shelter, and her time had run out. Her family neglected her then dumped her off to be killed. When we heard her story, we sent a volunteer to save her on her last day! She's very scared and a little spicy, but after some time, is warming up to our foster mom. She will need an experienced dog home that is willing to give her time to feel safe and decompress. She weighs less than 7 lbs, is badly matted, and has really bad teeth. She'll be seen by our vet, given a full exam, lab work, dental and grooming. Meet Ike! He's a sweet well behaved puppy looking for a foster and forever home. Ike is about 8 months old so mostly full grown at 10 lbs. He gets along well with other dogs and everyone he meets. UPDATE!!! Romeo has been found! Thank you to everyone who helped get this boy safely home!
LOST DOG IN LOMITA! Romeo got out and was last seen running down PCH near Pennsylvania Ave. He can be skittish around men but is a very sweet and gentle dog. Please help! Rosie's dad passed away and now Rosie needs a new home. Rosie is probably the most perfect dog you could ever meet. She loves to play with other dogs, is gentle with small dogs and ignores cats. Rosie is extremely smart and loving. She's very affectionate and happy to sit quietly by your side while your work pr watch TV. Rosie enjoys car rides and is well socialized. She's only about a year old and healthy. We think she looks like a cattle dog /shepherd mix. Let us know in the comments what breed you think Rosie might be.

Foster and forever homes needed for these handsome gentlemen. After a messy divorce and an out of state move, this father and son duo were left behind. We accepted them into our rescue to prevent them from going to the shelter. They are so incredibly loving and sweet. They love to cuddle and give kisses. Anyone who's had a Doxie knows how affectionate and smart they are. They have great personalities and get along well with everyone. The son has the white chest and is about 3 yrs old. The dad is about 5 yr old. We will take them to our vet for full exams, vaccinations, neuter and a microchip. SHELTER BOUND! This gorgeous Merle Frenchie boy is shelter bound unless a rescue foster or adopter is found. One of our volunteers was contacted by the owner and he needs to surrender him. He has some weakness is his back legs, which is common for Frenchies. He needs crate rest and medication for several weeks. The owner will take him to the shelter if a home cannot be found. If a foster home is available we will cover his vet expenses. He has a sweet loving personality and is well behaved.

Meet Honey

Honey is a 2-year-old, long-haired Chihuahua / American Eskimo mix weighing just 3 pounds! She has a big heart and a deeply affectionate nature.

She was found collapsed on the streets, suffering from severe dehydration and a heavy flea infestation. One of our volunteers stopped, stepped in, and gave her the care she urgently needed. Honey received food, water, veterinary attention, vaccines, flea treatment, and a warm bath. Very quickly, her little body — and her spirit — began to come back to life. It was clear she had been waiting a long time for safety and kindness.

Honey has never had a family before, and because of that, she bonds deeply with her person. She is the kind of dog who becomes your constant companion — always close by, always tuned in. She loves being included in daily life and enjoys going places with her person. Honey is not suited for a home where she would be left alone all day while someone works outside the home. We are looking for someone who genuinely wants a dog to share life with — car rides (with a proper car seat and seatbelt), high-quality food, a cozy bed, and lots of closeness. She sleeps in bed, loves to snuggle, and has a calming presence that brings comfort and connection. Honey will bring a lot of joy and love to any home

Despite her past, Honey is truly mellow and easygoing. She has a calm, grounded personality with a sweet spark of life and curiosity. She is very smart, but because she has never lived in a home, will need support with potty training. When taken outside intentionally a few times a day, she does not have accidents indoors — consistency and routine make all the difference.

Due to her tiny size, Honey is not appropriate for homes where coyotes or birds of prey pose a risk. She is wonderful with other dogs, smaller dogs would be best. She is not a good match for puppies or high-energy dogs who may not yet understand their size or strength.
