240 grams of spindle spun fiber. From the wool blend with @thewrenwife fiber advent, spinning and finally plying. Next up- the soak. This was such a rewarding process, working from prep to yarn.

Test knitting a pattern by the talented @brianaarlene This is a second go at it after missing the stitch count for the yoke increase. If at first…. 😅 Finding the quiet calm of the water encouraging as I reknit the 20+ rows I had to rip out. So many valuable lessons/reminders in the act of redoing a knitting project… maybe I’ll get it right, maybe I won’t, but I will keep on trying 😊🙏🏽 by @dguido7606

Spinning up the last of my @mellyknits touski batt., on my @woodlandwoodworking morel mushroom spindle. Enjoying everything about this moment the evening light, the calm, the smell of the grass, the sounds around me, the fact that I am in a happy place.
Love my @shelli.can t-shirt- best T-shirt ever 😂
Also loved at the end of the video a woman asks me if I’m spinning yarn in quite a state of amazement. She then proceeded to state “she didn’t think that it could be done and more” 😂😂😂 Spinners out there we have to do a better job of spreading the word…🤣🤣🤣
