So cute, this young Grey Currawong was sitting on the garden shed. Not sure if Mum left him there or it was of his own doing. The Currawongs have been busy trying to steal the dog biscuits, so she was possibly close by.

Spotted Pardolotes back in my garden. I leave a hanging basket for them to gather nesting material. Swipe to see different images of the male and female bird.

Tawny Frogmouth on my walking trail.
Same spot as last year, with this gorgeous male bird doing daytime duties of sitting on the nest.
Apparently breeding is often more successful after big rains , which all adds up considering we had over 100ml in Bendigo this year on a July day.

The botanic gardens in Mackay are one of my favorite places to visit. I captured this gorgeous little Male Sunbird when I was there recently. A highly recommended spot with many species there.
