“Strong for Life”

We train for strength — not just for today, but for every stage of life.
Because when you build strength, you build freedom.
Freedom to move with confidence.
Freedom to stay active doing what you love.
Freedom to keep showing up — in the gym, at work, in life.

Whether you’re an athlete chasing performance or a busy professional trying to stay ahead of life’s demands, strength training isn’t about lifting heavier… it’s about living better.

Let’s train for longevity, resilience, and a life that feels strong in every sense of the word.

Heading to AZ!! by @di_tunks

🍷 Elgin County Girls' Day Out! 🌿🕯️

What a blissful day exploring Elgin County with my favorite people! We packed a whole lot of fun into an 11-to-4 whirlwind tour, and we’re officially calling it a massive success.

A huge shoutout and thank you to our incredible designated driver (@murdockjason) for chauffeuring us around all day—complete with his very fancy hat and "Durty Murdy" girls day wine tour shirt to make it official. We couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌🧢

Here’s where our adventure actually took us:
• Sparta House Tea Room: We kicked things off right with an English lunch in the historic (and haunted) village of Sparta. 🫖✨

• Sparta Candle Shop: We wandered over to check out the local candle store and took in all the amazing scents in town. 🕯️🌿 oh yes and a quick visit to the Whistle Stop Peddlers Antique shop where we were met by a jovial chap who yapped and yapped 🥴

• Rush Creek Wines: Plot twist! Even though Google still talks it up as a great stop, we found out the hard way that they are closed! Note to self: always double-check those Google listings. 😉🚫🍇

• Skye Chase Estate Winery: We didn't miss a beat, heading straight over to relax on the patio, sip some VQA estate wines, and take in the gorgeous views overlooking the vines. 🍷🍇

We rolled out at 11:00 AM, wrapped it all up by 4:00 PM, and now we are safely back home in our jammies ready for a wild, crazy Saturday night in. 😂🛋️🍿 by @di_tunks

Still here. Still grinding! 🏋️‍♀️

If you train with me, you’ve definitely watched me do these before because we program them in 😉

These are tempo squats (specifically a 3-second descent, 1-second drive up). This is about the max weight I'll do without a box under me. We like them for two (of many) reasons:

🔹 Time Under Tension (Hypertrophy): Slowing down the rep increases muscle time under tension for the quads, glutes, and adductors. That means serious muscle growth without needing to crush your spine with a massive raw max on the bar.

🔹 Tendon & Joint Health: That slow lowering phase builds bulletproof resilience in the knees and hips, protecting your tendons and keeping joints happy.

Add a little core, bc why not?! 💪

...And let’s be honest: they're also doing the Lord's work trying to find that bubble butt that went missing around 50 🤔🍑✨

Can we stop telling women to lift light just because they’re getting older? Or how about 'do more cardio'?

Especially during perimenopause.

Yes, our bodies are changing. Hormones fluctuate. Sleep can suck. Recovery can look different. Some days you feel amazing and other days… not so much. 😂

But that doesn’t mean we stop lifting heavy!

It means we program differently. There’s a big difference!

Good programming isn’t just throwing a bunch of exercises together and calling it a workout.

It’s knowing when to push, when to pull back, when to increase the load, when to change the volume, and when your body is telling you that today isn’t the day to chase a PR.

And honestly? I LOVE seeing women get stronger through their 40s, 50s and beyond.

Because strength isn’t just about what you can lift.

It’s about carrying your groceries.
Getting up off the floor.
Playing with your kids (or grandbabies 😉).
Feeling confident in your body.
Keeping muscle and bone strong.
And knowing you’re capable.

Perimenopause isn't a reason to stop challenging yourself. It’s a reason to make your training smarter.
And ladies… heavy lifting belongs in that conversation. 💪

You don’t need to train like you’re 25.

You need to train for you. by @di_tunks

Doing 50 different exercises a week isn't variety—it's confusion. 🚫

Notice how my training videos look pretty similar week to week? That’s called programming, and it’s the secret sauce to real results.

Why we repeat movements over extended phases:

• You actually build strength through progressive overload instead of just chasing sweat.

• Your body gets efficient at the movement, reducing injury risk.

• You can measure real data, not just guess if you’re getting stronger.

Boring routine = exciting results.

Random workouts get you tired. Structured programming gets you results. 📈

If you’re ready to trade random workouts for real progress, send a DM to start a structured plan tailored to your goals. by @di_tunks

Mobility and Stretching is part of the program!

Random workouts get random results. Structured programming gets you strong, mobile, and injury-free.

Mobility and stretching are fully integrated into every phase of our training. You’ll master key exercises, track true progression, and keep your joints feeling 100%.
