This blew me away!

The @iwcwatches Da Vinci Perpetual Calendar is pure horological history.

The fact that a single crown controls the entire mechanical brain....
Day, date, month, moon phase, and that four-digit year display

Blows my mind! 🤯

Throw in the chronograph and those iconic articulated lugs on 18k yellow gold, and it’s easily one of the most comfortable and characterful neo-vintage pieces out there.

Grand complications don't get much more classic than this.

@timetidewatches Founder Fest 2026 seems like a distant memory, but 3 pieces still live in my head Rent free!

@beaucroftwatches Punk with it's gorgeous punchy pink sapphire sandwich and sleek black case. 🩷

The @dennisonwatch Mod Carnaby Blue dual timer with beautiful mother of pearl inlays showing a union jack and a British roundal 🇬🇧

And then the stunning @furlanmarri Songlines with it's Stunning lacquered chocolate dial and hunter case back 🟤

All 3 watches were my pick of a fantastic bunch, what a day!

The Y Sgowt by @j.s.watchmaking makes a comeback with 3 stunning dials.

My favourite being this blue pietersite, so mesmerising!

Known as the "Tempest Stone," blue pietersite is a rare aggregate of hawk’s eye crocidolite locked within jasper quartz.

When sliced into ultra-thin dials, it reveals a swirling tempest of midnight blues, metallic silvers, and golden-grey chatoyant light

As with all stone dials no two watches will ever look the same!

Also available in Red Sponge Coral and Malachite.

Antoine Tavan is a name I’d like to see more collectors talking about.

A Grand Feu enamel dial on copper, steel hands cut, shaped and polished by hand, and an ETA 2824-2 modified by the maker for a 24-hour display. The sun and moon on the hour hand guide you between the day and night scales.

I’m still learning about Roger Zarsoso’s wider watchmaking background, but this piece alone gives me plenty of reason to follow his work.

At CHF 1,300, the amount of handwork here really impressed me. A thoughtful, individual approach to watchmaking that deserves a closer look.

Had an awesome time yesterday with friends from the @themeridiancircle_london at @threecountiesspirits.co for a great tour of Luke's distillery.

It was fantastic to hear about his passion and the result is the best tasting Rum and Gin I have tried.

Seriously recommended taking a tour!
My favourite was the Dialled Coffee Rum, and Tangerine. 😋 Plus you get a free Cocktail after the tasting!

They offer a brilliant flight box that has 6 of the best Rum options or 6 Gin in 50ml bottles. £36 or £10 off if you sign up to their mailing list. Plus other cocktails hand made by the man himself without and nasties that are pumped into the mainstream brands!

As we are a bunch of watch nerds we managed to still get some cool watches involved! 🫡

Thanks to all that turned up, and the Red Lion pub by the Lock was a great place to have some lunch!

Enamel art with a technical edge. 💛🔥

After seeing this piece a few months ago I managed to get one to add to my collection.

This stunning watch is from independent atelier O&HoraPictor - The Track Compass, Yellow Track.

For those unfamiliar, Hora Pictor translates to "painter of time," and this piece shows exactly why.

The star of the show is the dry sifted, opaque enamel dial fired at roughly 800°C over multiple cycles to achieve a unique, matte yet rich yellow base.

Instead of feeling like a delicate dress piece, the sector style layout and crisp outer graduations give it a surprisingly purposeful, technical vibe.

Quick initial impressions:

✨ The Dial: The vibrant yellow enamel brings incredible warmth, paired with sharp, graphic pad printing and beautifully distinct blued hands that make the whole layout pop.

📐 Case & Proportions: Wearing at a sleek 38mm with a 45.1mm lug to lug, the fully polished case and downturned lugs hug the wrist effortlessly.

🔍 Crystal & AR: Lightly domed sapphire with anti-reflective coating that actually lets you appreciate the enamel texture without fighting glare.

⚙️ Caseback View: Turn it over and you get an exhibition view showcasing a striking, textured custom rotor with clear enamel inlay. The Charbonné finish to the rotor is simply beautiful! 👌

An ambitious piece that blends traditional fire formed enameling with a modern sector dial design.
Needless to say I'm totally smitten with this one!

The @golbywatches x Gary Farr Octopus Collab Skipping Stone Watch

I’ve had The Skipping Stone by Golby on wrist for a few days now
.
A piece that marks Golby’s first-ever collaboration, working with Cornwall-based artist Gary Farr.
.
Gary is the proprietor of Escape Gallery in Mevagissey, and his hand-drawn monochrome artwork looks incredible brought to life inside the case.
.
The dial is printed and finished in smooth enamel, set off by skeletonised hands inspired by the local Mevagissey lighthouse and BGW9 Super-LumiNova for a subtle night-time glow.

A few quick thoughts from my time with it:

🌀 Uncluttered Dial: Zero branding on the dial face—all the logos are reserved for the crown and clasp, letting Gary's art take total center stage.

⏱️ Dual-Timer Function: Golby’s signature internal rotating bezel, controlled via the 2 o’clock crown.
.
⚙️ Under the Hood: Ultra-slim Miyota 9015 automatic movement visible through the sapphire exhibition back.
.
🔗 Bracelet: Brushed 5-link bracelet with screw links, quick-release spring bars, and an on-the-fly micro-adjust clasp for those moments your wrist needs a bit of space.

Sometimes a watch just stops you in your tracks. 🟢

The @czapekgeneve x @fratellowatches collab is an absolute masterpiece in person.

That smoked green sapphire dial fading out from the sub-dial is unbelievable.
You get a peek right into the movement while keeping that sleek, modern look.

At 38mm, the proportions on the wrist are spot on, and the green strap ties the whole look together seamlessly.

High-end independent watchmaking at its absolute finest.

Loving my NWA @m.a.d.editions M.A.D.2

Probably the coolest watch I have had in my collection, but certainly the one that gets the most attention and questions.

The whole Record and DJ theme takes me right back to my youth when I was working in pubs spinning on the decks. The way the rota spins is like an adult fidget spinner, very addictive!

I must admit it's extremely comfortable as well!

Certainly what I had hoped for and feel lucky to be able to own one! 🖤❤️

There’s something effortlessly timeless about a well executed tuxedo dial.

The contrast on this @angelier_watches is striking

That sharp central disk setting off the deep black outer ring, framed by classic numerals and a crisp railway track.

Paired up with a soft, neutral suede strap to tone down the formality just a touch for a relaxed wrist check.

It’s art deco design cues done right without feeling like a museum piece.

There has been a lot of noise about copycats and Homaging in the last week, but I don't think anyone can deny, if you're looking for a perfect watch to prove that homages can be good, it's the @vaeradventure G2 Apocalypse GMT.

Inspired by the @rolex GMT that Marlon Brando wore in the cult classic #apocolypsenow this for me is what it's all about.

It's an 'If you know you know' watch, which could stand up in it's own for being a great Vintage inspired piece!

They constantly sell out, and that's also a testament to the design.

Well done guys!
