Got 🔥 Foot?

You will typically experience numb toes, pain under the ball of the foot, and the sensation that someone is searing the bottom of your foot with a blow torch.

This can be caused by your foot bones (metatarsals) being squeezed in a shoe that is too narrow for your foot, which can potentially cause a neuroma if untreated. This is why it is important that you measure the length and width of your foot and make sure you’re in a shoe that supports your foot under load.

Also, please try to avoid over-tightening your shoes or wearing socks that are too thick.

Additionally, an unsupported forefoot varus often causes hot foot, so sometimes wedges can be placed between the cleat and the sole of a shoe to level the foot on the pedal and re-distribute pressure.

Treating hotfoot requires redistributing the weight of your feet on the pedal to avoid putting pressure on a concentrated section of nerves in the balls of your feet.

Moving your cleats backward slightly, and adding insole support with a metatarsal bump to lift and separate the toes for more blood flow, generally will help.

If these remedies don’t work, try switching to a pedal with a bigger platform.

Dialing in the new Crux For Mr. Constantino. He almost qualified for my 6/7 lineup, but at just under that height, we were able to set up saddle height, seatpost selection, bar and stem without having to go custom for this big guy.

Dialing in the details on this Canyon. Small adjustments, new pedals (less rotational mass for more efficiency), saddle change (more pelvic support) … big difference in how the bike feels.

Look how far we’ve come.

The evolution of cycling has been a journey - a relay, you might say, in which the bicycle, as we know it today emerged by stages in the hands of numerous separate innovators.

Fast-forward to 2026 and we have ourselves sophisticated geometries, elaborate paint jobs, and a mechanical extension of the body which transforms effort into motion.

We express ourselves through these pieces of artwork, and at the same time, they transform our world into something greater than we could have ever imagined.

It was an honor and a privilege to fit the legendary Greg Leibert (G$) on this beautiful Mosaic titanium road bike, with a nebula series paint job, curated with @chrisking and @envecomposites wheels.

This was a great custom build start to finish from a pre-fitting interview to ordering a custom geo from @mosaiccycles, to a great build out by the @thedropout.bike

Inspired by the performance on Mt. Ventoux, we conducted this @retul_technology fitting in the studio on a @iamspecialized Shiv while witnessing greatness by @kasianiewiadoma94

After a structural assessment from head to toe, we made the following adjustments:

• New cleats (addressing rotation and alignment)
• Saddle selection, placement, and tilt
• Worked with a custom @aerocoachuk front end
• Tracked hip vertical and lateral movement on different saddles to establish which one worked best
