A not so typical sumo show

Plus a little pre + post show stroll 💘

What we thought was a little gaming arcade turned out to be a casino. We took a look inside and you could see the shock on our faces when we realized. However, we didn’t leave. No, we joined in on the fun ;) by @diankaexplores

Talk about two worlds colliding!! This piece is a cross between the design of my previous Lotus piece and colors from Sonder. Two gorgeous elements in one.
.
I had a bit of a challenge when taking on this painting. Lets be honest, recreating pieces are not my forte. Resin does it’s own thing, so each piece is unique in its own way. With this painting, my goal was to maintain that individuality while still holding true to its previous design. Balance is key.
.
I also had to get a little innovative with this guy. The crystal petals of the lotus didn’t appear to ‘bloom’ outward as much as I wanted to. So I innovated 🤓 and used glass petals from a chandelier we took down a few years ago. Talk about a crazy coincidence. They looked exactly like the petals in the lotus 🥰
.
This piece pushed me in a couple of ways but the one thing I try to maintain is my level of trust in myself, the flow, and confidence that everything will always fall together. And this painting just came together like a puzzle piece. More photos soon on my @diankapours page ✨ by @diankaexplores
