Welcome to Victoria. It is good you have arrived. #victoria #vancouverisland #britishcolumbia by @dickiesnit

‘The Knowledge Totem’ on the grounds of the Provincial legislature in Victoria BC carved by Cicero August and his sons of the Cowichan people. Please note the complimentary spider calling this totem home. Also I think the frog is amazing! #knowledgetotem #victoria #firstnations by @dickiesnit

A few images taken from the ferry as we travel to Vancouver Island. #bcferries #activepass #pacificocean by @dickiesnit

We are leaving home for a few nights’ getaway in Victoria. Mount Baker in Washington State looks great as our ferry pulls away from it’s moorings. #mountbaker #bcferries #getaway by @dickiesnit

Under the caption NOW I HAVE HEARD EVERYTHING! Trump’s envoy Steven Witkoff in a meeting with the war criminal Putin after having the audacity to describe Trump as a ‘humanitarian’ then said to Putin “You are a humanitarian also, sir, and I salute you that. I commend you.” Has the world just done a complete fucking topsy turvy backflip? I apologize for my vulgarity but this official statement on behalf of the United States of America is grotesque in the extreme! #stevewitkoff #putin #usa #bullshit by @dickiesnit

Our beautiful boy. He loved adventures and beach times. #mydog #eastvandogs #dog #woody by @dickiesnit

Our beautiful boy Woody passed on Tuesday. I do not have the language abilities to write anything that could possibly do him the justice he deserves. Suffice it to say that he will always be our boy and we feel incomplete without him. Please enjoy these memories of Woody and this so special music that will serve admirably as his soundtrack. #woody #eastvandogs #pup #mydog by @dickiesnit

The Orange Swamp Goblin not sufficiently satisfied to bring economic, environmental and the suffering of pointless wars upon the planet has once again returned to its passion for name changing. Henceforth we are commanded to refer to Lake Ontario as that most glorious body of fresh water Lake America (loud peal of Imperial trumpets reminiscent of a flatulent billionaire) under threat of decapitation or at the very least greater economic sanctions. Oh to have such spare time for the naming of bodies of water that already had quite satisfactory and useful names. Still the Orange Swamp Goblin has spoken so we all must obey! #lakeamerica #lakeontario #trump #usa by @dickiesnit

This afternoon we discovered a sea urchin tree! It was quite surprising to learn that sea urchins begin life on a tree before they release themselves and make their slow migration to the ocean and the rest of their aquatic life for which they are named. #seaurchin #seaurchins #tree #spikey by @dickiesnit

Last nights thunderstorm was intense! I don’t think I have ever experienced one quite like it in Vancouver. One of the thunderclaps on this video shook the entire house! #thunderstorm #thunderandlightning #vancouverthunderstorm #vancouverweather by @dickiesnit

I was gifted a bag of cut crystals probably from an old chandelier and have strung a number of them on fishing line around the garden. On a sunny morning the front house steps are now a more colourful place. #crystals #prism #rainbow #eastvangarden by @dickiesnit
