My debut in sculpture and light making.

Introducing the Honeycomb Lamp…

A functional sculpture that resembles characteristics from the outside of a beehive. In a natural space, these tend to have a dull grey colour, much like clay after it dries. The shell of the lamp takes after the nest with the yellow lightbulb itself being the honeycomb. This piece has multiple hexagonal cutouts and can serve as a light source displayed around the home.

Meet it’s other half…

A clay sculpture carved to mimic the honeycomb. Together, they form an abstract version of a part in nature. by @didigumbs

In the Womb of Nature • 2024 • Pt. 1

This series intertwines female-presenting individuals with elements in nature to explore how they connect with one another. The photographs portray the environment as a consumable vessel, reeling in its desires and bringing like to like. It is then discovered that it is in a woman’s nature to be needed by those around her. (Full artist statement on my website linked in bio)
