Girlies, it’s time to put our voices where our votes are! 🎀🗳️ Local elections are happening tomorrow, so here’s your little reminder to show up, stay informed and have your say in shaping your community. 🗣️ A few tips before we hit the stations: 1. Do your homework, girlie! 💌 Find out who’s running and understand what they stand for. 2. Get your documents ready. Make sure you have your valid South African ID. 3. Make a plan to vote. Check your voting station and plan your day so you have time to cast your vote. Your voice matters 💅🏽🇿🇦 by @digitalgirldiaryza

The girls are in Cannes 🌴 and we are living for it. Gone are the days when we only see the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity experience from afar, this year we are seeing it on our TLs and the girls are serving. 🔥 If you want to catch out some SA girl magic at Cannes 💫 You’re welcome. - Siki Msuseni - Fundiswa Ngwato - Sarah-Justine Ward - Sibu Mabena - Sibu Nhlangwini - Nkgabiseng Motau by @digitalgirldiaryza

Friday the 13th : Social Media Manager edition 👿 🦇 These are some of the sentences that send chills down every social media manager’s back. 👀 Do you have any others to share? by @digitalgirldiaryza
Things that feel like a humiliation ritual as a Digital Marketer 🫠 😂: 1. Vox pops or street interviews 🤣 : Love doing this but begging strangers to talk to me on my tiny (sometimes pink) mic can get a bit embarrassing. 2. Taking staff content for social media 🙃 : It is all fun and games when we are laughing at “Running away from the Social media girl” content on TikTok but try doing a trend with your non-Social Media colleagues. 3. Doing a trend that you know doesn’t align with the brand or industry because people that are not the social media managers saw a lot of other brands doing it 🙂. 4. Commenting and liking your work content with your personal social media pages. 🤭 5. Explaining the algorithm to any and everyone. Thanks a lot Meta 😭 What are some of the things that give humiliation ritual at your job? 🤣 by @digitalgirldiaryza
Meet our Founder girlie: @sne_ngwenya So here are 10 things about her - from her: 1. My full name is Sinegugu Ngwenya, but everyone calls me Sne. 2. I’m a Zulu girl from a small town called Newcastle in KZN, grew up in Durban and currently live in Cape Town, South Africa. 🇿🇦 3. Growing up I wanted to be a Politician or a Lawyer hence I studied Politics. 4. I run two businesses; my baby Digital Girl Diary and a hair extensions business Postiche Hair. 💞 5. My marketing career started from my days at UCT, when I joined Phaphama SEDI and realised the tangible impact of marketing in the SMMEs that we worked with. 6. I am passionate, to a fault sometimes according to my friends, about everything I do. I can’t help it, I am a Gemini. 😂 7. When I was in high school, I was part of Durban Youth Council and that sharped my life’s mission till now. Everything I do is centred around “service to humanity is the best work of life”. 8. In 2016, I did a TED Talk about period poverty for TEDXUCT but it was sadly not uploaded to Youtube. 🎙️ 9. I am as great of a speaker as I am a writer. (just more shy about the vulnerability of writing) 🫠 10. When I was in uni, I produced and hosted a YouTube channel called Zande Channel. We went on to do Youtube South Africa’s tour and multiple influencer gigs so I was talent before I was on the brand side 😂 Nice to meet you, now back to girly chats about all things marketing 👩‍💻 and everything in-between. 💗 by @digitalgirldiaryza
At Digital Girl Diary, we love celebrating women who lead with passion, purpose, and impact and Nosipho Mbatha is exactly that - That girl 💅. From earning an Environmental Science degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal to pivoting boldly into her true passion; digital, influencer marketing, and content creation. Nosipho Mbatha shows us that following your calling can change the game. 💞 After 7 incredible years at Unilever, where she led as the Digital, PR & Social Influencer Lead for Home Care, Nosipho didn’t just make campaigns; she built meaningful connections, culturally intelligent strategies, and influencer partnerships that truly moved the needle. But her story didn’t stop there. She went on to found The Social Diaries, a brand-building and cultural intelligence studio that helps modern African brands and talent show up boldly on the global stage. Nosipho is proof that creativity, strategy, and culture-first thinking can take you anywhere you want to go. 💕 Today, we celebrate you Corporate Baddie🥰 by @digitalgirldiaryza
