Standing in a space long dreamed of, a moment that felt like stepping into the light after decades of quiet creation. To be showcased alongside some of the greatest of our time is an honor I’m still trying to put into words.

This journey hasn’t been solitary. To the gatekeepers breaking barriers and dismantling glass ceilings—you are the unseen architects of progress, and your work makes moments like this possible.

To my friends, my family, my chosen family, and my unwavering circle of love—you are my foundation. Your belief in me, even when my own wavered, and the quiet ways you show up have been my lifeline. You remind me that no vision is too ambitious when love and support surround it.

Du 16 novembre au 7 décembre, durant la Biennale de Dakar, aura lieu l’exposition « À travers les lignes » de Dija Boye, la muraliste sur toile. Une invitation à repousser les frontières de l’art abstrait en fusionnant l’expression directe sur les murs avec des œuvres sur toile traditionnelle: une juxtaposition qui vise à transformer l’espace d’exposition en une vaste toile vivante.

Immergez-vous dans cet odyssée où les murs deviennent des supports expressifs à part entière, conversant avec des pièces encadrées plus conventionnelles. Chaque surface, qu’elle soit architecturale ou toile tendue, sert de terrain de jeu à l’imaginaire

Cette expérience invite à repenser les limites de l’art, où les frontières entre l’œuvre et son environnement s’estompent, où l’art s’affranchit de ses cadres habituels, offrant une nouvelle perspective sur la relation entre la création, le support, et l’observateur…
