Connection...

It’s not simply about being physically present, but also about how you can be emotionally present.

Willing to listen, understand,
and truly be there for one another.

Because when we learn to listen,
we are able to understand that every human being carries wounds that are not always visible.

There are unspoken fears,
there is a past that shapes the way someone loves,
there is an inner child that sometimes simply wants to be understood.

Perhaps all this time, we have been too busy understanding what is visible, until we forget to ask:

“What are you actually feeling?”

Because sometimes,
what someone needs is not advice,
not defense,
but someone who is willing to be present
and say:

“I want to understand you.”

A good friendship is not a friendship that is never wounded, but a friendship that makes two people return to Allah after being wounded. 🌏🌱
