Yesterday, I went to a charity event again
Every week, we spend time with children from an orphanage, sharing love, laughter, and little moments that hopefully mean something to them. We also teach them English, because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream big
Honestly, every visit touches my heart in a different way. Sometimes, we think we need so much to be happy, but spending time with these kids reminds me that happiness can be found in the simplest things.
I may not be able to change the whole world, but if I can make a difference in even a few little lives, teach them something useful, and make them feel loved, that’s already a blessing.
It’s not just about giving. It’s about sharing love, creating opportunities, and reminding them that they matter 💖

Allahumma Barik! Alhamdulilah Bi Idznillah 🌏🌱 We had the opportunity to visit one of the orphanages with dozens of children who memorize the Qur’an around Lake Beratan, Bedugul, Bali.

Here, we shared happiness, played and learned together, and were able to listen more to what they need.

And after listening attentively, we finally tried to understand their needs. So, with the month of Ramadan just a few months away, they are really hoping for the helping hands of kind people to help them with the construction of their prayer room, because when the rainy season arrives, rainwater blows into their prayer room.

What’s your purpose in life?
What does true happiness mean to you?
Do you believe in God?

Those seem like basic questions, but those are actually fundamental and spiritual questions 💫

Asli. Apa adanya. Unscripted. 😃

Aku & @ayah.bro ketemu dan ngobrol sama @dikamarfi, the person behind Bali Quick Talk & @dinasty.kim. While in Canggu, we managed to have meaningful conversations about Bali Quick Talk, Mr. Komang (IFKYK 😉), our worldview, our perspective about religion (Islam & other religions), & spirituality.

Seru nyimak perjalanan Dika memulai Bali Quick Talk (BQT). Having a job is more than having a job. It’s a spiritual act.

Focused on the spiritual, not the ritual. Ritual without the spirit —> akan kering.

Starting to think, it’s not Bali Quick Talk, but it’s Bali Deep Talk 😄 Well, thanks for the deep & meaningful convo ya Dika! 🌏 Good luck on your orphanage & Lombok project 👍🏽
