Our music is featured in a new podcast from @espnoriginals @espn and @goatrodeodc 🏃🏾‍♀️

Episodes 1 & 2 of THE FASTEST GIRL IN SOMALIA are available now from ESPN’s 30 for 30 podcasts. You can find them wherever you listen to your podcasts 🎧

Thanks to the fantastic folks at Goat Rodeo for asking us to be part of this incredible project 🙏

Thanks to our production manager @colindcampbell for producing, engineering, mixing, and mastering our recordings that are used here.

Link in bio to hear the podcast + another link to listen to our music that’s featured in the podcast.

This is a really inspiring story and also a very sad story about when tremendous personal drive meets extraordinary geopolitical obstacles. Samia was an incredible person. We’re so happy her story is being told so beautifully by @teresarkrug and the whole team.

Also check out the brave and important work being done by @sosmediterranee — an organization that has saved the lives of hundreds of people just like Samia.

Scoundrel by Rob Dillon

We just premiered this new piece by our very own @dillonperc that slices and dices 5’s in all kinds of crazy ways 🔪

We perform the piece live tomorrow night at @denisonu @artsatdenison where we’re back in residence this week working with student composers, percussionists, computer music classes, astrologists, psychologists, and area high school students.

Study with us at the Northwestern University Percussion Symposium this summer! 😎🌞🥁 July 13-18, 2026

Third Coast Percussion will lead a one-week chamber music intensive as part of the Northwestern University Percussion Symposium in 2026. Students in the chamber music intensive will experience 6 days of coaching and mentorship from TCP on music from our ensemble’s repertoire, culminating in a concert performance of this music. Students may apply as individuals or as pre-formed percussion ensembles.

Students will also take classes from a bonkers list of distinguished faculty 🤯

See the link in our bio to apply!

See you there…

It took a little longer than planned, but I’ve arrived in Switzerland, and so far managed to find a picture of myself, visit the ol’ Lion in Lucerne, and enjoy an epic old school schnitzel with @mp7282 @therealdavidskidmore and #seanneedsinstagram! Really excited for @thirdcoastpercussion to play some @chriscerrone starting tomorrow, plus @jlin_p and more later in the week at @musikkollegiumwinterthur.
Also a note: you should know that if you are traveling to Europe, your passport must be valid for at least 90 days AFTER the scheduled date of your return to the states. Just saying that last part for no reason, just wanted to share that bit of information. taken in Winterthur, Switzerland by @dillonperc

#grammys2023 photos! Great to celebrate with the whole @thirdcoastpercussion team, plus @ry_brennan was complimented on her dress by one Taylor S, and we got to see Viola Davis complete her EGOT and Beyoncé break the record for most Grammys (take that, Georg Solti!….?) I feel very fortunate that the astounding @timothymunro was kind enough to work with me as I wrote my first solo flute piece, “Worthy Adversary.” Link to full video in my bio! Flutists, drop me a line if you’re interested in checking out the score.
