I tested them thoroughly and they held up 💪🏽

Lots of “testing reps” from this day and a lot more accrued over the last year. No cuts, no bruises, and they stay in place whether you’re diving to dig a cut shot or “blocking”

Use my code to get a discount to the online store, or ask me about my @airflyeyewear sunglasses next time you see me on the beach 😎

I’m really proud to represent @airflyeyewear Their sunglasses are the best beach volleyball/active wear sunglasses i have ever worn. The customizable titanium frame guarantees a perfect every time, and the WORLD PATENTED frame piece holds them in place. They are shatter resistant and very durable. I’ve had a couple pairs for almost a year now and I just got my first scratch on one pair. I’ve been hit in the face enough times to know they will hold up and won’t cut your face open. They are great sunglasses. Thank you @airflyeyewear !

Check out this hitting drill I learned from @pompiliomercadante ! It’s a really fun drill to do as a player, but also helps the hitter build rhythm into the approach jump.

Give it a try on your own, or contact me so I can help you get it right😎

Really excited to share a sneak peak of this shoot with @airflyeyewear eyewear 🕶️☀️

My AirFly glasses have been nothing short of spectacular! They’re a great product made by a small company based in Torrance. Family owned and made in Japan, I love working with Hiroshi and Kenny. Looking forward to sharing more with you all next week 😎

I will be talking about the lens quality, durability, and other PATENTED features that set AirFly apart over other Volleyball glasses!!!

Breaking down the practice footage for Brent and Scott! Brent was making some AWESOME progress with his setting footwork. In the full video, you hear me saying “nice job setter” more times than I can count 😎

Full video available on my YouTube. It’s a little longer than 10 minutes of practice footage

This has been my morning routine for the last few weeks. Low weight and building the rep count. Focusing on strengthing the joints& tendons, while building endurance and conditioning the muscles for a return to the court.

To say this year didn’t go how I hoped would be an understatement. Next year will be different. My body is feeling better than last year. This routine is sustainable and I am getting better, faster, and stronger.

I’m Back.

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to play volleyball. Laguna 2023 I tore my meniscus. MRI said the tear was small and it would heal. It didn’t. Second MRI 8 months later said my knee had gotten worse. Surgery in October 2024. Right before Laguna…. I didn’t get to play this whole year but at least I was able to walk and do some other great stuff, like getting married to my lovely wife.

I’ve been training twice a week and I feel good. There’s more work to do and I’m not jumping at my peak, but I’m close and I’m not in pain. Off-season prep for 2025 is in full swing. See you out there!
