POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I keep seeing sketchbook posts where the sketchbook is overlapping another artwork or photo and I figured this could be a fun way to showcase a spread without overthinking the flatlay!

Also, we have a new printer/scanner so I can post better quality sketchbook spreads now!! AHhh!!
(ಥ◡ಥ)

These characters appear in my book series, The New Heroes.

For the first time in years I'm actually doing a second #artvsartist ! I've done a lot of character art for my OCs this year 🥹🤩🫶 and I'm pretty pleased about it!

I was mostly inspied to draw because I was developing new characters for my book series, and it's been a fun part of my process to sketch them out as I get to know these characters.

I feel like drawing and developing characters for my books helps me as an artist.

Next year, I'm hoping to draw more of my OCs and share them here. Completely embracing that this is an OC sharing art account 😌🙊 and, hopefully, some comics!

Oo nga pala...hindi nga pala sila...

But THEY ARE GOING TO BE OFFICIAL THIS OCTOBER AT KOMIKET ORIGINALS! 🙈🙊

A Little Too Late is a 🇵🇭 Filipino romance comic series for the soft and introverted yearner girlies. 💜❤️🤫✨️😘

The OFFICIAL ISSUE 1 has two cover variants, the full color and the fading watercolor effect background.

It also comes with a couple of bonus art pages with cut sketches of Dinah and Jake!

I also still have limited copies left of the Soft Reveal version from July's PICOF.

What the soft reveal has: The old cover, less pages.

What the Official one has: New Cover, a few panels were re-arranged and dialogue was revised for a more polished storytelling, there are also three additional panels with art added. Plus a couple of bonus art pages.

Both still tell the same story and you can continue to Issue 2 with no problems.

Official Issue 1 - PHP 400

Soft Reveal - PHP 280

If you bought the soft reveal before already and also want to get the official one, you can let me know and I'll give you a discount for the official one to be PHP200.

I'll also give out FREE Dinah and Jake stickers at Komiket!*

And if you follow me here, I'll give you a free A Little Too Late print. 💜❤️ *While supplies last.

BLURB:

29 year old Dinah Arceo has long since given up on love and her old one-sided campus crush on Jake Legazpi, but for some reason, years later, she ends up working in the same office as him (with jobs they both hate) and finds out her best friend’s new boyfriend is Jake’s roommate. To make things more interesting, every time the two go out, they insist on having Dinah and Jake to tag along. It’s almost enough to make her hope for something more...

But messy and awkward Dinah doesn’t think she’s the ‘lead in a romance’ kind of person, especially not someone you ‘fall for.’

Will meeting Jake up close and personal result
in a second chance romance?

Or is it all just...

A LITTLE TOO LATE? 💜👓

I love drawing cute outfits 🥹

I drew this for the @pinya_io Meet the Creator spotlight which you can see in my author account @ggravenwrites .

Wanted to share the art I did here too.

I used the Concepts App on Samsung Tab S6 Lite. Really love their soft pencil tool. by @dinahdraws

I'm am slowly going to accept commissions again in an attempt to put my art out there (also because I badly need a side hustle 🤪👌)

ACCEPTING COMMISSIONS WILL OFFICIALLY OPEN ON OCTOBER 10, 2026
but you can already reserve a slot. (I just won't be accepting the details until the 10th.)

Slots will be limited since I have a part time job and preparing for Komiket Originals.

I just felt like finishing this piece finally.

I still don't think I'm used to Ibis Paint these days, since I usually work on either Clip Studio or the Concepts app, but I wanted to challenge myself.

Also, this is me slowly beginning the A Little Too Late comic, Issue 1, promotions before Komiket Originals! 🫪🫶💜❤️ by @dinahdraws

I'm gonna normalize posting my crappy sketch screenshots of my OCs on this account so I can actually grow more as an artist and not put off making art just so it's 'perfect.'

I'm trying to practice using Ibis Paint again since I've gotten so used to just using Clip Studio Paint.

I want to be able to mix it up and play around making art in different platforms.

Tools:

Made using Samsung Tab S6 Lite & the SPen.
