It's time for the The Light. β˜€οΈ The Heart and Hero were the spine characters, but in L&J I had to request the Light. β˜€οΈ β˜€οΈ β˜€οΈ β˜€οΈ BOOK 2 IS OUT NOW! β˜€οΈ OKAY HERE WE GO! β˜€οΈ β˜€οΈ β˜€οΈ BLURB: Love and Justice, Book 2 of the New Heroes Series! β˜€οΈ 🌧🌩 KARLA has always felt like an outsider for being a superhero geek, now she has literal powers, new friends, and a chance to get close with her costumed idol, Maya Girl. Plus, a spark with her crush, Andre. Maybe being a chosen one isn't so bad? But when Karla's gift starts to feel more like a curse, everything is riding on her proving she's hero-material. ANDRE expected trouble when the Organization told him he had a role to play in their prophecy, but he didn't count on the physical upgrades. Just when he got the hang of his electricity powers, it seems his connection with Karla has given him more strength than he realized. Now they think it's his responsibility to be invincible, but he isn't sure he's up for the task. CURTIS is anything but legendary like his father, the late sun-themed Kapitan Araw, or unreachable like his powerless girlfriend seems to think. Fresh from training in the Engkanto world, he has a lot to prove, but dark secrets surrounding his father's legacy may overshadow everything. The Organization of Superhumans expects the Prophecy kids to act like Superheroes in their contingency plan against 'another war'. Superhuman murderers, monsters, and a terrible storm are just part of the training. Heart, Hero, and Light will have to face more than their heroes' expectations, especially when they find they may have more in common with their enemies. β˜€β˜€β˜€ Fans of Heroes of Olympus, Young Justice, and My Hero Academia will enjoy heroes to root for and couples to ship in the second book in the New Heroes Series of Filipino YA Superhero Fantasy Books. It is equal parts romancing the Superhero genre and a new voice on Urban Myth and Fantasy. SURPRISE!? I will be launching the New Heroes Zine, a last minute Komiket All Originals addition to what I'll be selling in my booth at B5 ( @ccanngreen x GGRavenworks)! This is a passion project πŸ˜…, like literally I DIYd this at home and figured out how to do a proper zine. It's far from perfect, but she's mine. The New Heroes zine is something I plan to continue making and doing for future local comic and art markets and will have stories and art about the New Heroes world. This first issue, Issue 0, is just a sampler issue, meaning it just has the prologue and the first two chapters of Book 1, Heart and Hero. BUT! It has about 6 illustrations based on certain scenes in the book. And it's just cute! I'm actually pretty proud of how the cover print turned out. πŸ₯Ή So Issue 0 is perfect for those who are interested in trying out the series with a chunky Book 1! But those who have read Book 1 can still find something in it -- the art. πŸ˜…πŸ™Œ Will be selling this for β‚½150 an issue and it has 3 variant covers. So come find our table (literally in front of the door πŸ«ͺ) while supplies last! For overseas readers, I will also have a digital/pdf version up on my Ko-Fi after the event, so stay tuned! #komiketalloriginals #komiket #artph #thenewheroesseries by @ggravenwrites
