Connection. A 270 m2 mural painted at the Up Here 11 in Sudbury, Canada.

It's hard to put into words how rewarding it was to connect with so many people in such a short time during my work at the Up Here Festival. I shared many experiences with the wonderful people who inhabit these lands in northern Ontario. I believe I was able to truly live what I proposed in the theme of my mural. I connected with people of all ages, nationalities, and social classes through art. I met professionals working in different sectors of the city, community members in need of a hug or a word of support to feel seen and part of the city, and many, many talented artists. I was also deeply touched by those who stopped by every day to follow the painting, offer a compliment, or simply say hi, as well as by the incredible neighbors who live in front of the mural and were absolutely the best.

I hope this work brought a little hope to this corner of the city. It only reinforces what I’ve always believed: that art is a vehicle for connection and the exchange of experiences.

I'm immensely grateful to the entire Up Here team for giving me the opportunity to live all that. Thank you to @jaymielathem , @ashleyguenart , @nixian , @goldleaffg , and many others who were part of this 10-day journey in Sudbury! May connections always grow stronger in our lives!

"Symbiosis". Mural made at @yycbump BUMP Festival 2023.

Symbiosis is a term used to refer to an association between organisms of different species, where this relationship is beneficial to both individuals involved.

The mural depicts some endangered species in Canada, the Gray Fox, the Grizzly Bear and the Eastern Cougar, along with two human figures. It symbolizes our inseparable connection with the natural world. The warm tones of the color palette allude to an environmental wake-up call, highlighting the impact of climate change and human actions that need to be contained.

The entire work gains the same texture, where I worked on effect simulating an organic texture, as if all the elements were carved into a large wooden wall. This reinforces the interconnectedness of all elements as part of the natural system.

The objective of this work is to celebrate the importance of species for the environment, proposing a harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature. It is a visual representation of all beings as a unit, reminding us that we share a common responsibility for natural well-being.

This wall serves as a direct alert, conveying a message of urgency and inspiring action. At the same time, it fosters emotional bonds with these endangered species, reminding us of the beauty and fragility of our natural world.

I am immensely grateful to the entire BUMP Festival team for the opportunity to participate in this great festival. It was a fantastic experience to be part of this event that brings together excellent professionals and artists that I had the honor of meeting in person. It was fantastic to see up close several works in progress from the 2023 edition and other works from previous editions. I was impressed to see how BUMP transformed downtown Calgary into a huge open-air museum, displaying a collection of works by artists from around the world.
I'm really happy to be a part of it! I hope to return to Calgary soon.

Thank you so much!! 🙌🐻🦊🐱 taken in Calgary, Canada by @dinho_bento

A closer look at the final result of the "Living Organism" mural, a project born from the idea of integrating regional fauna directly into the architecture and urban space of Gatineau.

I'm glad to present my new 240m² mural in Gatineau, created as part of the Rue Eddy revitalization program organized by @visioncentrevillegatineau and @ville_gatineau

In this project, I sought to transform the building's architecture into a living organism, where iconic regional fauna emerge from the walls as guardians of local biodiversity. Within the fluid shapes, you will find the Osprey, Fox, Goose, Raccoon, Horned Owl, and Black Bear.

The composition is further energized by the Cardinal Flower, a prominent local species symbolizing the beauty and vital energy of nature, while the blossoming white flowers evoke endless fertility.

My sincere thanks to Ville de Gatineau and Vision Centre-Ville for this opportunity. Leaving my mark in the Hull district, an area with such a rich and inspiring collection of public art, is truly meaningful to me and I am proud to be part of its story.

Special thanks to Julien, Phil, and Erica for all the support throughout the entire process.

Un grand merci à tous! 🫶🏽❤️🍀🙏🏽

One side down, two more to go!

The first side of the mural at 165 Eddy Street in Gatineau @visioncentrevillegatineau is officially complete.

It’s been a few intense days of painting through scorching heat, rain, and everything in between ☀️🌧️

My big thanks to the @ville_gatineau for this opportunity, and to everyone involved in this initiative that is helping transform Eddy Street, one wall at a time.

And now… back to work. The mural continues! taken in Gatineau, Quebec by @dinho_bento

The Constant Flow.

In this triptych (Morning, Afternoon, and Night), I use the continuous act of the hummingbird feeding as a metaphor for our own existence and for everything we choose to nourish and absorb throughout the day. After all, staying healthy is a daily flow of choices about what we allow into our lives, from dawn to rest.

Series: The Constant Flow (Triptych)
Acrylic and oil on canvas board, 33 x 33 cm (each artwork)

Aracy - Shelter series, 2026.
Acrylic and oil on polyurethane, clay and wooden support, 34 x 43 cm.

The “Shelter” series keeps growing. Here, textures and reliefs create a real boundary between what is inside and what is outside. It is a series about where we find ourselves. It is about feeling that the natural world is a place of protection and rest.

///////////////////////////////////////////////////////

A série “Abrigo” continua crescendo.
