@godiadl has stolen my heart 💕

The atmosphere itself is absolutely breathtaking, it is like Valentine’s Day every day, right in the heart of Italy.

The menu is perfectly curated to offer you the most unique Italian dishes that are not seen anywhere else in Adelaide.

We enjoyed:
✨ Pea & mint arancini
✨ Crispy octopus
✨ Sourdough garlic bread
✨ BBQ Chicken deep pan pizza
✨ Signature parmesan cheese wheel pasta with added Italian sausage and raclette cheese melt
✨ Involtini di pollo
✨ Espresso martini
✨ Pavlova cocktail
✨ Passionfruit martini
✨ GLV Tiramisu
✨ Banana cubed
✨ Tortino al cioccolato
✨ Zabaione
✨ Iced coffee

Each dish was absolutely spectacular. The passion and pride is evident throughout.
It’s hard to choose favourites when they’re all stand out in their own way. The deep pan pizza is incredible, weighing 1 kg, it is full of delectable fillings and oozy, melty cheese with the most epic cheese pull. The parmesan cheese wheel pasta was so creamy, the brandy hit was divine and the fennel in the Italian sausage added a superb tang.

Then the dessert. WOW. The new banana cube was a flavour sensation and let’s just say each one disappeared very quickly.

We came, we ate.....but did we conquer?

@fuel4thetank and I returned to @salty_dog_port_adelaide not even a week after our last visit because we had something exciting planned and we just couldn't wait...
Both of us were taking on a challenge!
I was going for size....to finish the entire Meat Monster
@fuel4thetank was going for time....to beat the record that he set of 5m03s.

✨ The Meat Monster consists of:
Double smashed meat patties, double streaky bacon, triple cheese, hand breaded chicken breast, fried eggs, caramelised onions, crispy fried onion rings, lettuce, tomatoes (I swapped tomatoes out for pickles), hollandaise, smokey bbq sauce on a toasted potato bun.
We added some chips on the side.....not part of the challenge, just because @salty_dog_port_adelaide do amazing chips 👊

Both of us conquered our challenges! 💪👊
@fuel4thetank beat his last record and has now set a new one of an amazing 4min41s and I finished the entire Meat Monster (in 24mins).

We didn't stop there. When Bec, the lovely manager, said she has "sweet dog bombs" as part of her dessert menu, I couldn't say no! I always have room for dessert!
@fuel4thetank was forcefully persuaded into enjoying them with me! 😂
They consisted of an assortment of battered and deep fried delights, covered in cinnamon sugar. We were asked if we'd like sauce on top....I asked for both chocolate and caramel. Ice cream would go amazing with these too!

❤️ 🖤 The Devil's Burger 🖤 ❤️

Best surprise ever.
I came into this having no idea where I was even going, let alone eating!
@fuel4thetank - the one and only Burger King 👑, with the help of Mikey - the incredibly talented owner of @burgerchinos, had devised it all.
I have a signature burger and I LOVE it!

You can now call me a burger lover. This was insanely amazing and now my burger bar has been set!
The meat was so juicy and had the most delicious caramelisation. The @dickbuns_ was melt-in-your mouth and the cheese, oh I love cheese, with the freshest, crispiest lettuce.....it just all worked! Perfection 👌💃

Thank you again, I had the best time! ❤️

@crumpet.cafe is a hidden gem no more!

Seriously good, everything blew me away.
The crumpets for one are absolutely beautiful and loved the texture.... how can it be dense and fluffy at the same time?? 🤤🤤🤤
Perfectly cooked eggs, rich hearty lasagna, halloumi cooked to perfection, and the burger! Wow!

Classic dishes elevated 👌

We enjoyed:
✨ House made crumpets with jam (absolutely incredible! Best crumpets I've had)
✨ Mediterranean scramble
✨ Big crumpet burger
✨ Mimi's Cluster Delight gourmet toastie
✨ Crumpet Benny
✨ Big crumpet brekky
✨ Meat lasagna with salad
✨ NEW waffles - far out these were insanely good!
✨ NEW Mini pancakes - Nutella white chocolate and oreo, biscoff
✨ NEW strawberry matcha
✨ Fresh cake selection from @stgeorges.bakehouse

FYI THE COFFEE IS INCREDIBLE HERE!! MADE SO WELL!! (using @lacremacoffee)

There's also NEW menu items that you need to try! New summer drinks and desserts range...my god, those waffles were absolutely divine! And such fluffy mini pancakes 🤤

An inviting cozy interior, plenty of outdoor seating and a menu that will leave you coming back for more!

@phoenixsweets.au have been busy baking new delicious treats!

The most soft and pillowy Japanese-style chiffon cakes, these were incredible! Classic strawberry shortcake and pandan mango...I can't decide which was better!

Their signature Basque burnt cheesecakes are always a hit. I had the ube and tiramisu. That signature caramelised crust and soft creamy centre was luxurious 🤤

Definitely try their new drinks menu too! Premium ceremonial grade matcha layered with fresh flavours like strawberry or yuzu. Also new is their hojicha and my all time favourite taro 👌What a line up!

I always love my visits to @phoenixsweets.au ...couldn't leave without their delicious cupcakes 🤤🤤🤤

A Night with Nigella - September Pudding Club at the @sussex.hotel

This was their 16th meet and the theme was the beautiful Nigella Lawson @nigellalawson

The puddings below are in order of what I enjoyed most:

🥇 Chocolate Guinness cake
I have only ever had one and I hated it….this one turned me into a lover!

🥈 White Chocolate & Passionfruit Mousse
This was incredible!! It was the first dessert of the night and I loved it so much I had seconds.....even though three more desserts were to follow 💪😂 ....I am a dessert Queen after all 👸🏼 this was my first choice but the Guinness cake was so good it converted me!

🥉 Grasshopper Pie
Chocolate and mint, YUM! The flavours were nice but I wasn't a fan of the spongey pie texture, a creamier texture would have been my preference

🥄 Peanut Butter Ice-Cream & Hot Fudge
Sadly a miss for me, not a whole lot of peanut butter and more chocolate fudge sauce please!

At the end of the evening, diners vote to crown the "Pudding of the Night" – the votes didn’t match mine, but it's so much fun and a great night out with friends and family!

The event starts with a light main course, this month was roast lamb (I had the veg option) ...that roast pumpkin oh my laaaawd! 🤤🤤🤤

$55 pp, 6.30pm for 7pm sharp start.

Rich flavours, warm hospitality, and every bite worth savoring at @charminaradelaide

From aromatic biryanis to crowd-favourite curries, Charminar has been a long-term favourite of mine and for good reason!

We enjoyed:
✨ Honey chilli chicken
✨ Veg Manchurian with gravy
✨ Beef cheeks
✨ Goat do payaza
✨ Duck leg curry
✨ Malai kofta
✨ Butter chicken
✨ Biryani infused basmati - chicken
✨ Aloo stuffed nani
✨ Kulcha naan
✨ Chilli chicken cheese naan
✨ Cheese garlic naan
✨ Sticky date with Bailey's ice cream
✨ Mango lassi/soft drinks

There was spice, flavour, and authenticity on every plate.

Intense flavours, rich gravies and melt in your mouth meat - those beef cheeks literally fell apart!

The naan breads were soft and so tasty, great selection.

Every dish hit the mark and the hospitality was brilliant!

If you're craving authentic Indian cuisine in Adelaide, Charminar deserves a spot on your list

Dumplings After Dark - @brendan_pang x @soi.38

The most exclusive collaboration between @brendan_pang - dumpling master and @masterchefau alumnus and @terryint - Thai Chef extraordinaire from @soi.38.

@brendan_pang’s expertise in handmade dumplings were blended seamlessly into @soi.38’s authentic, vibrant Thai street food flavours, creating one night to remember!

With the most divine menu and perfectly paired wines for each course, the evening was seamless, faultless and incredibly delicious.

We enjoyed:
✨ Prawn and sesame toast
✨ Chicken satay dumplings
✨ Tom yum prawn and crab wontons
✨ Charred eggplant
✨ Crisp potato and massaman pot stickers
✨ Red curry beef cheek
✨ Stir fry Asian greens
✨ Chicken fat jasmine rice
✨ Thai Milk tea wonton mille-feulle

Dish of the night? Don’t make me choose!...It would have to be the tom yum dumplings with that incredible tom yum butter – I was pouring that on everything!
Also the red curry beef cheek – absolutely incredible flavours and that beef was melt-in-your mouth perfection. I drank that curry like a soup it was that good!
