BREAKING: Ridglan Farms is shutting down and every one of the remaining dogs will be released to rescues. This was only made possible by nearly ten years of campaigning, the hundreds of activists who have risked arrest and violence, and the rescue organizations that stepped up to negotiate with Ridglan’s lawyers and provide the dogs with safe places to go.

There is now just one major breeder of dogs for experimentation remaining in the US: Marshall BioResources (MBR) in North Rose, New York. We will now be campaigning for the release of their animals and for federal legislation against animal experimentation.

One of the ways you can get involved now is by organizing or attending protests in your area at laboratories or other facilities owned by companies that buy animals from MBR. We’ve created a campaign guide with more information at the short link dxe.io/mbrguide

Calf Cruelty Exposed: Our drone footage shows that a calf raising operation tied to a major cheese producer is using inhumane practices. The babies are housed in isolated confinement in tiny hutches and crates. When workers grow frustrated, they kick them and even jab them with metal prods.

A @pfizerinc executive was disrupted by DxE activists at a conference at UC Berkeley yesterday evening for their continued abuse of beagles in their laboratories. Pfizer is actively torturing puppies for frivolous experiments that fail to be replicated in human clinical studies.

DxE activists disrupted two @amgenbiotech vice presidents at a conference at UC Berkeley yesterday. Amgen actively experiments on beagles in their laboratories. Amgen subjects them to painful procedures, forces them to ingest experimental drugs, and ends their lives.

BREAKING: Activists with @directactioneverywhereedmonton have disrupted the Canadian Finals Rodeo to call for an end to calf roping. Calf roping causes young cows pain and fear as they are chased and tackled to the ground.

The two activists wore clothing with painted messages and held signs as they ran into the ring. They were eventually forced out of the event by cowboys and security. by @directactioneverywhere

An @amgenbiotech executive was just disrupted by DxE activists while giving a conference lecture in San Francisco.

We are calling on Amgen to stop experimenting on dogs. All of the dogs suffering in their laboratories deserve to be rescued and rehabilitated.

You can’t make this stuff up.

Meanwhile, law enforcement still hasn’t intervened on behalf of the millions of chickens facing criminal abuse and neglect at Perdue facilities every year. They’re suffering and dying while agencies like the NCRIC instead focus their investigatory and prosecutorial resources on nonviolent animal rights activists. by @directactioneverywhere

100 HENS RESCUED: @dxeparis has liberated 100 hens from a factory egg farm in France. After spending their entire lives in a filthy, crowded shed, these chickens are now enjoying freedom and care at an animal sanctuary.

This rescue was done to commemorate the eight year anniversary of the rescue of Rose, a disabled chicken who was the sole survivor of an open rescue in 2018. Each year around the anniversary of her rescue (Sept 29), activists all over the world take action and advocate for Rose’s Law: An Animal Bill of Rights. DISRUPTED: A University of Rochester show by Nick Offerman was disrupted last night as activists called on the performer to speak up against the torture of animals in the school’s laboratories. Dogs and cats purchased from Marshall BioResources are subjected to cruel procedures at the university. This has included broken bones and “harvested” eyeballs.
