GASTOPS HAS APPLIED FOR A NEW FACTORY IN OTTAWA! This factory, which will produce the engine sensors that go into Lockheed Martin’s F-35 bomber jets, will be over 4,600 square metres and 2 storeys. This means the building alone (not including parking space) will be bigger than an American football field. Compared to their current space, this would be quite the upgrade.

OTTAWA - THREE YEARS OF GENOCIDE: INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PROTEST

On October 10, we take the streets to mark three years since Israel’s genocide on Gaza began.
Our people in Gaza have endured over 1,000 days of bombing, starvation, and occupation. As imperialist powers attempt to dictate the fate of Palestine, we must confront and oppose their efforts to liquidate the Palestinian struggle. We must hold the governments of the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Arab states fully accountable for continuing to enable and fund the genocide.

We continue to demand a full two-way arms embargo and sanctions on Israel, and we demand an end to the escalated attacks on the people of Palestine and Lebanon.

Our matryrs paid the ultimate price while our prisoners carry the weight of freedom. We will not rest until we walk freely upon our land and the cages crumble into dust.

Join the international day of action: END THE GENOCIDE. MARCH FOR THE LIVING, FOR OUR MARTYRS, AND FOR PALESTINE.

🚔Watch Eulalie’s arrest at her home, on Sunday. She got arrested for painting a crosswalk on Colonel By. It is absurd that the people who are trying to ring the alarm, trying to protect us, are the ones being put in handcuffs. What a great use of police resources.

🧯We know who the real criminals are: it is our negligent government and the billionaires who profit off our backs. They should be the ones behind bars, they are the ones who are harming communities. The climate crisis is coming for us; because of them.

🚨1 arrest, 1 detained and 4 fines later we have half a cross-walk on Colonel By. We wanted to keep going, but we were stopped by police and unable to finish the other side.

🛢️We painted this cross-walk for the safety of students. We deviated traffic to avoid congestion.

Ottawa, September 7th 2026:

Marc Sutcliffe walking away as Ottawa residents confront him over his position on the genocide in Gaza.
As mayor, he should be willing to stand before the people of Ottawa, explain and defend his position, and—at the very least—show compassion toward residents whose family members have been killed or affected in Palestine.

Public office comes with a responsibility to listen, engage, and face the people you represent.
