A friend of mine invited me to sing by the riverside. His voice is amazing and he sings Chinese ballads like a pro, so I brought my harmonica and chose a random background Youtube blues song to jam to. I hadn't played in a while and it shows, but it's fun to just jump in and try things. I'm lucky to have such nice friends here. by @disasterexe

This is how I go to work every morning. I apologize for the weird angle, hopefully next video I won't show the rearview mirror.
Today there was almost no traffic since it's the last day before #chinesenewyear and it shows. Lovely street decorations though!

Friends and family:
Lots has happened recently and I'm doing well. Not long ago I was working at both the best and worst working environment I've experienced. It nearly destroyed my passion for teaching, but thankfully we got out of there before burnout did irreparable damage.
I'm working as a salesman for freight forwarding services. I get to use my innate skills as well as teach English to the entire office. I've surpassed my boss' expectations (so far) and our lives in China are finally no longer at the hands of anyone since we @dailyconii and I opened our own consultancy business, which means we're in control of our visas.
This job change entails many things, one of them being I can dress the way I want to dress instead of wearing P.E.clothes in case I have to head-shoulder-knees-and-toes all morning. I like my clothes. I like the new me. I'm happy. I'm thriving.

I hope you like the pictures. I think about all of you all of the time. Sincerely. by @disasterexe

Guangzhou is beautiful, and it knows no season other than spring and summer. Canton Fair has been quite an experience. #Guangzhou #cantonfair #guangdong #china #expat #expatlife by @disasterexe

We rescued Meadow in the middle of Winter (Jan 14th) so we're celebrating her birthday today! This is the silliest and smartest dog any of us has owned. Happy birthday Meadow! #CapCut #dogsofinstagram #dog #pets #cutedog #silly #funny #fantasylife #china #chinesedog by @disasterexe
