Today we’re proud to welcome a new ambassador to our team — Andy Jones.

A cold-water surfer, mariner, and environmental responder based on T’Sou-ke territory, Vancouver Island, Andy embodies the spirit of Finisterre.

From guiding remote expeditions to working coastal spill response, his life is built around the sea — and protecting it.

His surf style is fluid and grounded, shaped by Canada’s raw coastline and a deep respect for the ecosystems he moves through.

Net proceeds ($1,074.95) were donated to @surfridersvi and 3% of ticket sales ($166.55) were donated to @reciprocitytrusts and $350 USD was donated to @savethewavescoalition by @finisterre.

I spent a lovely few days behind the Hossegor dunes with a very inspiring group of people for the @finisterre ambassador AGM. I am honoured to be a part of the team, and feel that I’ve found my humble place within the surf ‘industry’. Stoked for the future. 🫡🇫🇷💙
