WHAT’S ON MY RIG?

I get a lot of questions and PM about my Discovery setup and the gear I use. There’s way too much to fit into one post, so let’s start with the front.

More on the electrical system, water, kitchen, interior and the rest of the build coming later.

The wild, untamed Bosnia. 🇧🇦

A little rougher. A little less polished. Endless mountains, remote plateaus, and panoramic views that felt like they belonged to us alone.

Driving through Bosnia and Herzegovina was one of the most memorable parts of our Bosnia session. The abandoned houses are a reminder of the country’s recent history, while the lack of tourists makes it feel untouched.

Not everything impressed us, litter along the roads and open dumping sites sadly affected our overall impression. But hours of climbing steep, narrow mountain tracks in our fully loaded Land Rover to nearly 2,000 metres, without seeing another soul, made it all worthwhile.

If you enjoy remote places where the journey is just as rewarding as the destination, Bosnia still has plenty to discover, rough and untamed.

The darkness hangs heavy, with barely an hour of sunlight each week. The rain keeps falling and the temperatures stay unusually high, close to ten degrees. On top of that, I’ve managed to get a slipped disc, so training has to be gentle… not exactly great for the mood 😅

But in just a week and a half, it’s finally time for the Christmas break. Until then, I’ll train lightly, drink coffee, work, take photos, plan, make a few upcoming upgrades on the Land Rover, listen to music, and spend time with people who actually give me energy ❤️

I need it — and I know I’m not alone. Keep going, friends. Brighter days are on the way.

Paid partnership | Snigel 🇸🇪

I’ve used Snigel gear for years, mostly in military settings, and now some of it comes along on road trips too.

Plenty of storage pouches and first aid bags on the large MOLLE panel, a solid backpack for day hikes, a duffel bag for clothes, and the field blanket always close at hand.

After 12 km of rough gravel roads, not a single thing rattled on the MOLLE panel - which is honestly such a relief.

Then a walk in the woods and a coffee wrapped up in the fluffy Superman cape 💪🏼

A pretty good start to the weekend.
Have a great weekend, everyone. 🌲☕

My daughter had the girls over for dinner, so I ended up with some freeze-dried food in the woods instead 😅🌲

And yeah… it got dark pretty fast.

Guess I’ll hang out here for a couple of hours until I’m allowed back in the house again 😁

Hope you’re all having a great Friday!

XLIFTER — tested where it matters.

Forest roads, water crossings, Balkan mountain roads / and snowy adventures coming up. ❄️

More clearance when needed, lower when height matters, while keeping all the original suspension settings.

But Auto Leveling might be my favourite part. Park. Level. Done. Perfect for sleeping and cooking. I’ll show more of that soon.

A simple upgrade that’s proven really useful in real life. Around 30 minutes to install, then you’re ready to go - high or low. 💪🏼

This is the season I wait for. 🍂

Autumn colours, forest roads, mountains, crisp air and fewer people - it doesn’t get much better.

10+ years old, countless trips and plenty of modifications later, this Land Rover still makes me smile.

Out there, all year round.

A different kind of Norway trip this time.🇳🇴

A long weekend with the Land Rover — but nights spent somewhere other than the rooftop tent.

Two nights in a glass igloo, completely alone on a mountain. Endless views, total silence and only sheep for neighbours. 🐑 We arrived late, leaving a few confused locals wondering what kind of sherpas were heading up the mountain. 😅

Slow days. A waterfall, some cooking, photography and simply enjoying the surroundings.

A perfect little escape, and easily within reach for a long weekend from Sweden.

Big thanks to @himmelblikk for the hospitality.

Time flies… It’s been almost two months since we were on the road through the Balkans 🏔️📸

📍mountains, winding roads, the Adriatic coast and new places around every corner & sleeping like babies in our rooftop tent ;)

Full tank, open roads, no schedule. Just roaming together.

That’s our freedom 🤍🤍

LATE SUMMER MODE.

Back to work and routines - but the evenings are still too good to waste.

A short drive, a new trail, a few photos and some time outside. Nothing big, just enjoying what’s here while it lasts.

The rig is getting electrical and water upgrades, while new roadtrips and adventures are already on my mind.

Sometimes a few hours outside is all you need.

📍Somewhere in the mountain 🏔️

The solitude we all desire most, hight in the mountains in our Land Rover 🖤
