DJ Lessons with @thevinylworkshop 🪩✨💿 | Gifted experience | THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO FIND A NEW HOBBY! 🔊

Had an amazing DJ lesson this morning with DJ Pete (aka @disorda ) at The Vinyl Workshop 🎧🔥

His passion, knowledge and experience are on another level, and I came away having learned so much in just one session 👏

All genres including Reggae, Hip Hop, Jungle, drum and bass, dubstep, house, RnB, funk, soul… he really has everything!! 💿

The workshop is easy to get to, a stones throw from the city centre with parking seconds away 📍

Aside from his busy schedule teaching and Dj-ing at @growroomspeakeasy at @helchwinchester 🍃, Pete does incredible work supporting local young people through @winchester.street.reach … so if you’re looking to support a local legend and learn a new skill at the same time, book in ✌️

If you’ve ever wanted to learn to DJ, I can’t recommend it enough. 🙌

Woke up after a five hour DJ set last night and started listening to a new Acid 7” I’d bought, grabbed a few more, decided to record a quick mix before I gave a DJ lesson… 🙂As you do, here ya go! Twenty minutes of Acid House on 7” vinyl. #45Friday #AcidHouse #AcidOn45 #AcidVinyl by @disorda

Twice a week, every Thursday & Saturday from 8pm, this is where I’m currently playing, crossing multiple musical milestones, loving it… If you’re in the Winchester area, come and check out @growroomspeakeasy with its Funktion One Soundsystem, in the basement of @helchwinchester food market. 👌🏼🔊🎧 #DisordasGigs by @disorda

Rockin’ it since the late 80’s, NYC Hardcore power house Madball rollin’ deep with the discography. ‘Not Your Kingdom’ is their latest album that’s just dropped… Was lucky enough to catch them live earlier this year too, mental show, one of the best live performances I’ve ever been too. 💙 @madballnyc 👊🏼 #nyhc #madballnyc #hardcore #disordasshredderz by @disorda

Someone asked me if I had any Majistrate whilst playing out Saturday night, here’s what I found in the crates. Big ‘97 bass bumpa biznizz, love this joint. B-side for the win. 💥 by @disorda

After another six hour DJ set with a dislocated finger, it’s time to chill. In comes this #TheoParrish ‘Chemistry’ gem from 2008 on Detroit’s #SoundSignatureRecords, the perfect Sunday sound, rolling and building as it goes into its eight and a half minute workout... None of this current mainstream two and a half minute nonsense going on, let the tune play and take you on a journey… and stop asking the DJ for requests that have ZERO RELEVANCE to what is currently playing. Let him/her take you on a journey, school you maybe?? Just dance, lose yourself, put your phone in your pocket, stop filming… SWITCH OFFFFFF. #disordasgigs @soundsignature 🙏🏼 by @disorda
