Last few days to see Collection Trap no. 7 by artist @mette_sandfaer.

Developed specifically for Dream, the installation changes from place to place, taking on a new form each time it is exhibited. Found and discarded materials, together with fragments from previous works, are reassembled in response to the architecture and context of each space.

At Dream, the work engages with the gallery’s direct relationship with the street, addressing both those who enter the space and those simply passing by.

Dream opens its doors again for the start of the season!

We’re very happy to welcome Danish artist @mette_sandfaer with Collection Trap no. 7, the seventh in a series of site-specific installations exploring how materials can circulate between different works and contexts.

Found and discarded materials, together with fragments from previous works, are dismantled and reassembled into new constellations, challenging the idea of the artwork as a fixed and finished form.
Join us for the opening next Monday, September 28th, from 7pm.

Mette Sandfær’s sculptural and installation practice explores found and readily available materials, bringing everyday objects into unexpected relationships.

Through these combinations, her work challenges conventions and hierarchies while responding closely to both the space it inhabits and the viewer moving through it.

We’re very happy to welcome Danish artist @mette_sandfaer to Dream for her first exhibition in Italy.

Mette lives and works in Bergen, Norway. She holds an MA in Fine Art from the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design at the University of Bergen, and her recent solo exhibitions include the Norwegian Sculptors Association in Oslo, Nida Art Colony in Lithuania, Trondhjem Art Association and Tag Team Studio in Bergen. taken in Ditroit Dream by @ditroit_dream

“To trust in what I cannot see” @grim_mim_’s new body of work is on view at Dream until September 13th.

Through these pieces, Libro invites us to sit with the unknown. Her signature large-scale black and white figures are still here, but there’s a shift: looser gestures, playful choices, vibrant bursts of colour breaking through. A rich and complex palette that mirrors a deeper transformation, from force to surrender.

@grim_mim_’s work explores a deep inner world through painting, sculpture and design.

Her practice is informed by folklore, symbolism, ceremony and mysticism, while reflecting on the unknown and unexplained in everyday life. Across her work, these references become a way to question themes of life, death, heaven and the afterlife.

Central to Mim’s practice is the idea of the apparition: the way something materialises or appears. Through airbrush, paint and sculpture, she brings forms into being through a compulsion to make, often going against the rules of what is “right” or expected.

Her work creates a world where the sacred and the surreal meet, shaped by memory, dreamlike stories and characters, and a deeply personal way of experiencing the world.

We are happy to announce our first ever artist from Australia, the furthest-traveled guest we’ve welcomed so far!

@grim_mim_ works across painting, sculpture, and design. Her practice draws from an inner world of folklore, symbolism, and mystery, where mysticism meets the everyday.

Airbrush is her primary medium: fast, energetic, and meditative, a way to channel memory and dream. Sculpture, by contrast, keeps her grounded, a process she describes as “humbling.”

After a sell-out debut with MOM Gallery, a residency at At the Above, and a solo exhibition with China Heights, her new body of work explores the space between the sacred and the surreal, building a world that’s whimsical, haunted, and deeply human. taken in Ditroit Dream by @ditroit_dream

From @matthewsinstagram’s series Cycles | Playhead, on view at Dream until next Thursday, 2nd of July.

The series was created by extracting rhythmic patterns made by cars crossing a playhead line overlaid over drone footage of motorways. The process isn’t automated — Matthew decides the rules and plays everything live, assigning patterns of notes to lanes, nudging everything to shift and work together to form a piece.

Transforming a soundscape of noise, combustion, power and speed into something delicate, beautiful and contemplative.

By placing a playhead in the world and translating patterns and rhythms into sound, the work transforms field recordings ,from human behaviour and city noise to insects and natural environments, into an evolving musical landscape.
