you can stay a little longer, but only if you want to 🤎

i turned 30 last friday ⌖

29 was a big year for me. i fell in love, went back to school, bought a condo, scored my first short film, made music, haunted the narrative, saw so many great concerts, got more transgender, made new friends, and so much more.

can't wait to see what my 30s have in store ♡ taken in Chicago, Illinois by @divine__authority

today’s my birthday, and i took some time to pull some of my favorite moments, people, and photography as a way to reflect upon this past year.

it’s heartening to see that there were truly too many to choose from. so many concerts, parties, trips, and memories.

it’s a privilege to curate so many heartfelt mementos and snapshots of when i was so moved by the world’s splendor that i had to (try) to capture it.
it’s privilege to (try) to carve out your place in the world, and to be carved by it in turn.

it’s been a strange year with its fair share of bittersweet, frustrating moments. but, seeing these wonderful friends and memories gathered together makes me smile. i feel so loved by you all. i’m sorry i don’t do enough to express it back enough.

to all my friends and loved ones out there, thank you again for all the birthday wishes. and thank you for a beautiful year.

you know i’d do anything for you ♡
