The best part of making my album “How To Get Off The Ground” was working with the talented people in my community, so I want to take a moment to highlight these incredible people that deserve attention:

First of all, I love Nat Puff SO MUCH. She’s the reason this record exists at all. I’m grateful for all the moments we spent goofing off, and as much as I pretended to hate the parody lyrics she would write of my songs, I was laughing every time we worked together. Through this creative process, she pushed me to be a better and better artist, and I count her as one of my closest friends. The entire album is a showcase of her exceptional talent as a producer, and her vocal performance on “Spat” steals the show midway through. She has really exciting stuff on the way soon so please familiarize yourself with Left At London if you haven’t, she will go down as one of the greats.

Emerson Borakove is one of this generations must-listen-to songwriters, and the guitar solo she gives on “Going Home, Sorry” ends this album on a perfect note. Not only that, she’s a total sweetheart whose compassion and love shines through at every moment. Emerson’s new album “Jewish American Prairie Princess” is the best thing I’ve heard all year, and all of you need to listen to it if you haven’t yet.

While I was staying with Emerson in New York to record the Bushwick music video, she introduced me to her awesome roommates Sofie and Cody, both of whom provided tasteful string contributions on “I Think I Can Beat Time”, as well as Alexandra Tey, whos trumpet work on “Irish Goodbye” was super appreciated! Having a taste of New York on this album is so fun.

Estelle Allen has put out some of my favorite music this decade (2025’s “STONER” is an absolute masterpiece), and I was so thrilled when she said yes to taking the reins and mastering this album. She gave HTGOTG some much needed PUNCH, and she’s one of the easiest people to work with. Listen to her music, and if you’re smart, hire her to mix and/or master your records!

World-famous electronic artist Astrid also tracked drums and piano for us at Gravity Studios in Wicker Park, she always puts a smile on my face and she was a huge help i

Color-themed birthday party! 🌈 Thanks to all my friends for a magical night!!💕
.
Rules: pick your color, wear your color, and bring a food or drink that’s your color. (Also very tragic that most of the pics are blurry and I missed a few people)
