Building brick by brick, we have always believed and will keep believing and gradually the world will see all we have been building in silence.

Happy is an understatement to describe what I feel right now as @superladypictures exhibits at the world’s largest film and TV market, MIPCOM Cannes, and @colonyredfilm will also be exhibiting.

A very big thank you to the good people at @nifsummit and @trino_motion_pictures for facilitating this. And thank you @ijayonah for seeing the validity of our dream. We also wish the other delegates at the African pavillion @biodunstephen @bolanleaustenpeters @uchelouisokocha @reenumi and everyone else success

🥂Cheers to the things yet to come.

Sometimes all we need is a hug, a soft reassurance, a listening ear, something to remind us it’s okay not to be okay 🫂

Send this to someone you want to know you are here if they ever need a hug, or to someone who has been your safe space. 🤍

Nollywood doesn’t have a content problem. It has a distribution problem.

That was the premise at NIFS Lagos a few weeks ago, on a panel about where film distribution goes next.

The audience here is mobile-first, and most of our work still reaches it through platforms built for somewhere else.

A producer should be able to see what their work earned, not be told what it earned.

And a global audience isn’t something you go hunting for after the film is done. A platform curates it, gathers people around African stories and holds them. That audience is what turns a global theatrical release from a hope into a case you can make.

Something I’m building goes at exactly this. I will be building it in public from here.

Follow along if this is your fight too.

Moderated by my good friend @faustinaokomayin , and thank you for the insightful conversation @kenemkparu , @funmi_onuma @julietibrahim & Thann you for inviting me @ijayonah and everyone @nifsummit

Introducing Lagos United. A Lagos love letter in deep pink and gold.
Good people. Good times - A Guinness concept AD

One stone, three birds: a concept ad that launches Lagos United, a fantasy club we’ve been building in-house, with Guinness as our concept official beer partner and Paystack as our concept shirt sponsor. (Let’s make this happen)

Know someone at @guinnessngrplc , @paystackhq , or an ad agency who should see this? Tag them 👇, and tag @imastudio_ai while you’re at it.

Every frame made with AI · Our entry to the #GAIC challenge, by IMA Studio.

AI film making can be extremely expensive, and what is the point of teaching if no one can afford to make something tangible with it?

So we went back to the drawing board and started building a new workflow from scratch, Nana Banana 2 + Grok Imagine.

Nano Banana 2 for its affordable image generation and Grok Imagine for its volume and limit based video generation.

This August we will be showing you the entire workflow in a practice microfilm creation class.

Another year around the sun ☀️ 🎂

The last year has been a blessing, there is so much to be grateful for. A year filled with answered prayers.

I pray this new year will be the year the entire world finally gets to see the magic I carry, and know my name for good.

I pray I finally get to make Limbo, a story too personal for me to let go.

I pray I finally get to lunch Dreamroom.

I pray and hope Superlady finally gets it’s big break

Above all I pray for peace, joy and unending happiness.

May I find all I seek.

Thank you all for the love on my post a few weeks ago. That support reminded me why I started. And then this happened.

I received an invitation from the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy to be part of the conversations shaping Nigeria’s National AI Strategy, sitting alongside some of the sharpest minds thinking about Africa’s AI future. As a filmmaker and creative, being at that table means everything.

Your encouragement pushed me back into the light. Look where the light led.

Cheers to the future.

I couldn’t save Nigeria from missing the World Cup. But I can save you from making AI slop.

You upload one photo, cross your fingers, and by the second image your character is a stranger. Wrong face, wrong skin, wrong person. That’s the slop, and nobody showed you how to lock a face.

The Genfilm Authorized Likeness system fixes it. Take any face you have permission to use, lock it into a master reference, and it holds. Same face, every angle, every scene.

Creators are already doing it from this one simple class. I’ll show you everything, step by step, nothing held back.

Comment “CLASS” and I’ll send you access to the community directly.

Five years invisible. I let myself disappear, and nothing grows in the dark. So here I am again, unfinished and a little afraid, starting from exactly where I am. To the future, and everything still coming.

Thank You for coming to my TED talk
