*DIY FYI* comedy duos 5/5:

The Tooting Broads! A little unhinged but nice, this duo have prepared something special for @diy_fyi and will ALSO be MCing the comedy portion of the evening.

Join us on Sunday 5th July for an evening of comedy, live jazz, techo, jungle, and live visuals at Piehouse!! Check bio for event details 💫💫

Rebeca is a Salvadoran-Canadian comic based in London since 2024. Her naïve stage persona contrasts with surreal, observational, and occasionally subversive material. Soho comedy labs plus alumna (2025).

Megan is a London-based stand-up comedian who has won audiences’ hearts with her misplaced confidence and absurd point of view. She is a ‘new woman comedian of the year’ finalist (2025) taken in Deptford by @diy_fyi

*DIY FYI* comedy duos 4/5:

Selam Amare & Sabina Westrup! They sound like sisters but they could be mother and daughter. Ok not quite but Sabina is old enough to be Selam’s mother. And this is where the fun starts: multi-lingual, intergenerational, both have a passion for running. Speaking of running, poor Selam thinks she’s running out of time to find herself a husband but according to Sabina, settling down is VERY overrated. She has learnt the hard way.

Come see them on 5th July at Piehouse co-op in Deptford. Event details in my bio and @diy_fyi. I love these two and so excited to see them. Come for comedy and stay for live jazz and DJ sets afterwards.

Selam is an Ethiopian comedian and TimeOUT x Nando’s Extra Hot Comedy Club Competition winner sharing hilarious UK life stories.

Sabina is a writer, actor, and stand-up comedian and winner of a BBC Writersroom competition. taken in Deptford by @diy_fyi

*DIY FYI* comedy duos 3/5:

Bianca Boorer & Steph Darcey!

Bianca Boorer is culturally confused but she doesn’t let that stop her going for whatever new life goal she has cooked up.

Steph Darcey is a character comedian, improviser, actor and singer. Her debut comedy show ‘Prototype’ (a 60 min political comedy about AMEXA: The Robot Politician) received multiple 4.5-star and 4-star reviews, as well as a London Pub Theatre Standing Ovation Award nomination. ‘Prototype’ was described as a ‘must see’, and ‘an original and deeply layered satire’ (London Pub Theatres). ‘Like all the best satirists, Darcey makes us think deeply, even as we laugh’ (The Peg).

So lucky to have both of them on our show. Make sure you get your tickets. Tap that nice blue link on my bio or @diy_fyi taken in Deptford by @diy_fyi
