Pt 1/2 - Chaos, connection, and community at @whole.festival 2026.
Photos by @schling_schling

WHOLE festival has quickly become Germany’s most intriguing (and controversial) queer music festival. What we usually see on the screens after the dust has settled is the chaos of the scene, but photographer Daniel Gottschling has a unique ability to capture the quieter moments of connection and introspection amidst the insanity of the weekend. Daniel shared an exclusive selection of images with DIZKO and we’ve picked out some of our favorites to share with you here. taken in Ferropolis by @dizko.world

The PiSexual processional at the @dubbdack_ double header was full of flirtatious cuties, pumping tunes, and great vibes noticed from across the bar. Dizko has the exclusive on the first look at photos from the night courtesy of the collective. The perfect way to close out the summer, we can’t wait for the next one!

Meet @dubbdack_ , the FLINTA* collective doing it up big for Berlin’s bi-pan community (and their associated allies). More on @dizko.world

Six years in Berlin and the group had never seen a party explicitly uplifting bisexual and pansexual DJs, so they built one. @giri.berlino x DUBBDÄCK this Friday in Neukölln goes back to back with their club night at @renate.berlin on Saturday, fully bi/pan lineups, tooth gems, flirt corners, everyone welcome. In our interview we talked about the importance of unadulterated FUN over pretension, community without gatekeeping, and what makes a room feel safe (it’s not the door). Full interview on the blog soon.

@whole.festival captured by @_recto_verso and @giovannybilanzuoli⁣ for @nastymagazine

“Too often, as queer people, we grow up indoctrinated to fear our own bodies, to regret our feelings and repress our desires. But sooner or later, the moment of redemption eventually comes: consciousness finds its own way, love heals and we grow stronger than before. Whole is a place where you can access the hidden rooms of your spirituality and still appreciate some lightness, escaping daily struggles and difficulties.⁣”

@maaraluisa LIVE tonight in Berlin. Find it on the @dizko.app

Maara makes some of the sexiest, weirdest dance music in the underground: trance, progressive house, breaks, acid, and pure early-2000s rave energy.

But Ultra Villain shows a completely different side of her.

Maara describes the record as essentially “The L Word meets chaotic DJ life in Berlin”: a deeply personal trip through desire, obsession, heartbreak, messy relationships, and, eventually, choosing yourself.

Tonight in Berlin, we’re getting a chance to hear Ultra Villain together.

Ahead of the listening session, here’s everything you should know about Maara and the story behind the record...
