After 37 years, today I hang up my midwife’s uniform. ❤️
What started as a career became a huge part of who I am.
The last 10 years in prison midwifery have been a particularly unforgettable chapter — sometimes challenging, always human, and filled with moments I will carry with me.
I’m incredibly proud of the women I’ve supported, the colleagues I’ve worked alongside and the difference we’ve hopefully made along the way.
My career may be ending, but the memories never will.
Here’s to 37 years of midwifery… and whatever comes next. 🥂🌸❤️ by @dizzydee71

Words can’t even begin to express how proud I am of this girl. 💛

Watching her compete in the heptathlon is incredible on its own, but knowing what it took to get to that starting line makes it unforgettable. After dealing with more than her fair share of injuries, she showed up, composed herself through all seven events, and gave it everything.

She is, without a doubt, the strongest person I know. Beyond proud of you, @niamhemerson 🌟👟✨
