#10 Andrea Balency - You've Never Been Alone (DJ NG Few'cha Mix)

This is not on Spotify. This is not on Apple Music. This is not anywhere.
DJ NG played this in the car and honestly I didn't even know what to say. Andrea Balency's vocal over an NG production that has never seen the light of day until now.

This is what Top of the Funky House is about. Moments like this. Music like this.
Cannot believe the top ten is over!

#9 Shingai - Zimtron (DJ NG / Social Habits Remix)

Shingai. DJ NG. Social Habits. And nobody has heard this.

This remix does something to you that is really hard to explain. It just sits in a space that feels both familiar and completely new at the same time. That is the magic of what NG does.
Honoured to be the first to share this with you.

#8 DJ NG - Wakanda (Originally titled Shingai)

He called it Shingai when he made it. The world knows it as Wakanda now.
This is the original. The one that started it. Hearing the story behind this track and where it came from is one of those moments that reminds you why this series exists.

Pure NG. Pure Funky. Unreleased.

#7 DJ NG - UK Pop Funky (Instrumental)

No vocal needed. Just NG and the groove.
This instrumental says everything without saying a word. The production. The feel. The way it moves. This is what Funky House sounds like when it is pure and untouched.

And nobody has heard this until now.

#6 DJ NG feat. Cher Blu - Can't Let Go (Deep House Mix)

The Deep House version. And it hits completely differently.
Cher Blu's vocal takes on a whole new life in this mix. Deeper. More soulful. More space. NG understood exactly what this song needed and delivered something that deserves to be heard.
It just never was. Until now.

DJ NG feat. Nicola Tate & Verse - Captured

There is a moment in this song where everything just stops.

Nicola Tate has always been one of those vocalists who just does something to a room. Captured is the record that should have introduced her to everyone. The fact that it never came out is honestly a lot.
But it is out now. Right here.

One thing about me is I’m a FAN GIRL.

I wanna be in the mix I wanna sing all the words I wanna scream and shout and tell you how much I love your songs your music your lyrics what ever it is I am not afraid to say I LOVE IT.

One thing about the new wave or artist I notice they are no different. The gyal dem especially have no hesitation when sending me props. Hope they feel the love back cos artists need fans but just cos I’m an artist don’t mean I cannot be a FAN. by @dj.ng

DJ NG feat. Nicola Tate - Saving Grace (Original Mix)

Nicola Tate again. And this one is the original mix.

There is something about the way NG frames a vocal that gives the artist so much room to breathe. Saving Grace is exactly that. Grace. Space. Soul. And a production that sits underneath it all like it was always meant to be there.
Unreleased. And beautiful. 🙏

The title that says everything.
Heartstrings is exactly what it sounds like.

Heartstrings - DJ NG feat. Cat Knight & MC Dogtanian -

The kind of record that gets you right in the chest before you have even registered what is happening. NG has always had that gift making music that finds you rather than the other way around.
This one found me.

We start here and end here. And honestly after hearing this I understand why.
Can't Let Go. The original mix. Cher Blu on the vocal. MC Dogtanian on the mic. And DJ NG doing what DJ NG does — building something that makes you feel everything at once.

DJ NG feat. Cher Blu & MC Dogtanian - Can't Let Go (Original Mix) @cher_blu

This is the record that opened the vault. And what a way to begin. 🏠🎶

"Music is like a time capsule of memories. Every song has got someone's experience."

This has been one of the most special episodes of Top of the Funky House yet. Thank you NG. Thank you for trusting us with this music. 🙏
