Hey guys, this is me, Dan. The man behind @dj.tiling
I’m so grateful for all the support I’ve gotten on here, kind words and friendships.
Being completely vulnerable, I started doing this to help keep my mind busy and always moving after being diagnosed with PTSD a few years back. Not too many people on here know that about me but I’m an open book and always here to talk to anyone. You’ve probably seen me hashtag #mentalhealth before in a lot of posts and that’s the reason why. Just because you see someone’s page and it looks like they are just living that best life, just remember that it’s easy to post the best things and not so easy to post the vulnerable things....
If there is anyone that is suffering from mental health and afraid to talk about it... talk to me, I will always make time. I know the importance of it.
Please know that it is okay to not be okay ❤️ #itsokaynottobeokay
If I’ve tagged you it’s because I know you’re a big advocate for mental health and I want my story shared with as many people as possible. If I can help even one person, then my struggles will have been worth it. If you don’t like being tagged I’m not at all offended if you remove it🙏🏻

Quartz curb is the best top IMO what do you think? Don’t forget to make it level and pitch in inwards to the shower.

Tile pattern is always a big decision. Whether it’s brick pattern, stacked pattern, herringbone or in this case the Chevron pattern… it’s what makes a statement in your room. Do you agree?

Well this is what 25 years in the Fire Service looks like. A lot of you don’t know this about be but this is my main career. I started doing a lot more construction and tiling after struggling with PTSD almost ten years ago which lead me to some very dark places.
Construction was an escape and kept my mind occupied on other things.
Both careers are very important to me and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Thanks for everyone’s support through the years.
Appreciate you all
Here’s to the next 5

@peygranlevelingsystems clips are solid. I have never had one break off during an installation, only the day after when I’m removing them

The puppy helped me template this Shower tile😊. This process works so well for so many reasons, especially odd size pans. I still remember seeing this method on social media the first time years ago by @fantasy_tile_ and was blown away. Always new tricks to learn
