NATHASSIA’S ‘CONFIDE IN ME’ GAINS CHART MOMENTUM

Nathassia’s “Confide In Me”, originally released via @ginchiestrecords, is gaining fresh momentum through its inclusion on Black Hole House Music 08-26, with the compilation reaching No. 12 on the iTunes Dance Albums chart in Italy.

The Black Hole Recordings release also charted across multiple Beatport categories, including a No. 20 peak in Bass House Releases and No. 27 in Organic House / Downtempo Releases.

Meanwhile, “Confide In Me” itself reached No. 39 on SoundCloud’s Progressive House & Beyond playlist, after spending 52 days on the playlist.

Another strong chapter in Nathassia’s 2026 release run.

Technics has unveiled the EAH-A1000, its new flagship wireless over-ear headphones.

The model combines newly developed 40mm magnetic fluid drivers with adaptive noise cancellation, lossless USB audio and connectivity for up to three devices.

Technics specifies up to 45 hours of playback with noise cancellation enabled when using AAC. Available in Black and Platinum Greige, the headphones are priced at $449.99 in the US.

SARA LANDRY’S COMPANY SUES FORMER MANAGEMENT OVER HEKATE RECORDS

A legal battle over artist ownership is unfolding in the electronic music industry.

Sara Landry’s company has filed a federal lawsuit in New York against companies linked to her former management, The Night Department, alleging unauthorized use of her name and Hekate Records trademarks following the end of their professional relationship.

The filing adds another chapter to an ongoing legal dispute, with separate contractual proceedings also taking place in the UK. Her former management contests her position regarding the termination of their agreement.

The allegations have not been established by a court.

Beyond the legal proceedings, the case raises a fundamental question: who controls an artist’s name, creative identity and business?

As the dispute continues, the conversation around intellectual property, management agreements and artistic independence becomes increasingly relevant across the electronic music industry.

Charlotte de Witte has climbed to No. 6, setting a new benchmark for women in the public-vote era of the poll.

Women occupy 14 of the 100 positions in the 2026 ranking.

A ranking does not define an artist’s worth. But it can document visibility, momentum and change.

ADE 2026 has completed its landmark 30th anniversary program.

More than 3,600 artists, 1,300+ events and 300+ venues will take over Amsterdam from October 21–25.

Among this year’s highlights are Amelie Lens, KI/KI, HoneyLuv and SHERELLE, as the five-day program brings together club culture, live music, technology and some of the most influential voices shaping electronic music today.

DJane Mag will be on the ground in Amsterdam with accredited media coverage throughout ADE 2026, bringing interviews, artist stories, industry insights and key moments from across the city.

Sara Landry pushes further into psytrance with “Awakening”

Out now via @hekaterecords, the 156 BPM track is the final instalment before Divine Intervention, Sara Landry’s second album, arriving October 16.

“Awakening” brings a pronounced psytrance influence into @saralandrydj’s high-intensity sound, expanding the space she has been exploring between hard techno, hard dance and trance.

The track offers another glimpse into the wider sonic direction of Divine Intervention, with Landry continuing to move beyond a single genre framework while keeping intensity and dancefloor connection at the center of the project.

DJ_Dave turns live coding into an album 💻🎧

Her debut LP, Hardcore Software, is out now via @maddecent — a 15-track project that places code at the center of the creative process, connecting electronic music, software and live performance.

The record also brings the wider live-coding community into the project, with Switch Angel, Lil Data and c_robo_ appearing across three interludes, while meat computer joins DJ_Dave on “Memory Leak”.

Now, the project moves from code to the road. The Hardcore Software Tour takes DJ_Dave across North America and Europe, with selected dates featuring support from @horsegiirl, @onlyfire and Computer Art LLC.

Charlotte de Witte and KI/KI are joining forces behind the decks for the first time.

The pair will play an exclusive three-hour B2B at Flanders Expo in Ghent on February 6, 2027, marking their first official set together.

The announcement forms part of a two-night takeover at the 23,000-capacity venue. Charlotte de Witte will present her KONNECTED concept on February 5 alongside Nico Moreno, NOVAH and Theo Nasa, before the focus shifts to the Charlotte de Witte x KI/KI B2B the following night.

Reacting to the announcement, KI/KI wrote:

“FINALLY 😍😱🇧🇪 madness incoming”

Additional artists for Saturday are still to be announced.

DJane Mag is expanding to the United Arab Emirates 🇦🇪

Based in Dubai, DJane Mag UAE launches as a new regional platform within the DJane Mag network, created to document, connect and amplify women shaping the country’s electronic music scene.

The platform is led by Lizie Barbosa, aka DJ Lisieux, who joins the network as Founding Regional Partner — UAE, bringing together local journalism, original interviews, industry stories, event coverage and community building.

That community is already taking shape, connecting nearly 65 female DJs across the Emirates to exchange opportunities, professional experiences and support.

For Lizie, the mission is clear:

“I want to build a scene where women in electronic music across the Emirates are seen, heard, booked and recognised for the work they do, within a community based on support, respect and real opportunities.”

DJane Mag UAE has also begun developing its own editorial voice, including a new interview with DJ Michelle, reconnecting with DJane Mag seven years after her first appearance on the Global site.

Taylor Swift just made MTV VMAs history 🏆

With her wins at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, @taylorswift has officially become the most-awarded artist in VMAs history, reaching 33 career wins and surpassing Beyoncé, with whom she had previously shared the record at 30.

Swift took home Video of the Year for The Fate of Ophelia and Best Direction for Opalite, while also becoming the first recipient of the new Artist Director Honors, celebrating her work behind the camera and contribution to visual storytelling.

It is another major milestone for a woman whose work now sits alone at the top of one of music television’s most established awards records.
