Had the pleasure of going to the #aardman50thanniversary party. I loved catching up with everyone. It was amazing to see so many people celebrating this unique studio. What a fantastic milestone. Congratulations #Aardman !!

Not to make it about me, but if you told me as a student, I would have been in that building as a former employee of 2 Aardman projects I don't think I would have believed it! A real pinch myself moment 🤓

Here are some #BTS videos for the Stop Motion elements from the Chinese New Year short film by Apple “Glad I Met You,” all shot on the iPhone 17 pro @mackandsaund , I had the absolute pleasure of being apart of the Studio & Puppet Making Crew.

From making the armatures for the Cat and Pug characters to being the on set puppet Rigger. you can see some of the fun challenges we had to work out and in different scales depending on the shot.

The full 11 minuet film is now available on the official Apple YouTube page.

I made this rolling road set & have been doing some #animation tests with it in the #loftstudio for a music video I'm working on. very happy with the results. Next, will try & combine it with the moco camera rig!

PS.. The background is just a test image for proof of concept, found with a quick Google that will not be used in the final video.

Iv recently got myself a little Motion Control Camera Rig for the Loft Studio, iv been playing around with some basic moves using the Spider and the fly puppets. Camera, focus, and finally animating. My next big task is to stop the light flickering!! What do you think? Any feedback and advice is welcome.

I'm very excited to see what I can achieve with this and add a new layer of depth to my projects. More comming soon!

I had the pleasure of attending a charity screening for @rainbowmindgm of Two Black Boys in Paradise followed by a Q&A with director @bazsells and producer @germanbenjack from @one_6th it was lovely to hear about aspects of the production I knew nothing about and some brilliant audience questions! Also, @socialrefugemcr created a very tasty themed cocktail for the night and had our lovely puppets and sets on display for all to see. Lastly, it was beyond amazing to finally see and hold the BAFTA in person!! ❤️ 👨🏿‍❤️‍👨🏿 🏳️‍🌈

Welcome to the DougOut! a new weekly #stopmotion #animated show for the @mlb_clubhouse @youtube page.

I had the pleasure of designing and making the armatures for our main characters, Doug & Scout. With the facial animation being added on in post production, I knew the brilliant animators would really want to push the puppets' performance and body language. Making designing these armatures a lot of fun and I couldn’t be happier with the final results, everyone on the crew has done a brilliant job!

A massive thank you to producer & art director @hayleymckinneyminiatures for getting me involved in this project.

Keep swiping to check-out some personal BTS images and the official full making of video

Created by @adamreidbits in collaboration with @bodegastudios in partnership and animated @mackandsaund

You can go check the latest episode’s of the #DougOut! now on the official @mlb clubhouse YouTube page.

This lovely making of video by @mackandsaund showing all the stages for creating 2 King puppets for #SmallProphets by #mackenziecrook 1 been used for the green screen #stopmption #animation elements with the 2nd been a rod #puppet for interacting with the actors on set.

On a personal note, this is the first time I have made it into a making of video and I couldn't be happier for it to have been for this project. I got to have so much creative, fun designing and making the armatures within this fantastic team 😀 🫙🫙🫙 by @djanimationuk

I had the absolute pleasure of getting to work on the Stop Motion Homoculi puppets for Mackenzie Crook’s latest project, Small Prophets! @smallprophets_ Working within the @mackandsaund team, I was fortunate enough to be given the body armatures for the fully grown King & Sereph to make. As well as the body & mechanical head armature for the developing Sereph.

Getting to work with these unique designs had some very fun and creative armature challenges to overcome. Making it extremely satisfying when seeing the final animation fully bringing them to life by the brilliant Ainslie Henderson @amphibianhusbandry & Will Anderson @willandersonjr I couldn’t be happier with the final results!

Keep swiping to see some BTS videos, and if you haven’t seen it yet, I would very much recommend seeing all 6 episodes of #SmallProphets on @bbciplayer / streaming

This Christmas, I decided to surprise my other half with #Thunderbird puppet versions of the two of us. I got the basic kits from Duncan Willis's shop. I sculpted and customised the heads to look like us while trying to keep that stylized 60's look. I also made the wigs with mohair, costume making with a mix of fabrics/ leather, 3D printed glasses, hand painting the heads and hands with enamel paints. In total, I would say this was around a 4 month project, and thankfully, he loves them 🤣 swipe to see some F.A.B making of pics...
