Audio Surgeon is how I’ve been feeling since I invested in the @audeze_official MM-500. It opened a whole new dimension of sound. I decided to take a step back and head deeper to understand sound beyond finishing tracks (thanks to a suggestion from a dear learned friend). I took up old projects to refine them and learn what I could do better. I’m still in process but boy what an improvement - just wanted to share the excitement which I have found again similar to the one I had years back when I started DJing.

And also tried @chatgpt for the first time and ran out of my free options so could not change the headphones in the image 🤣 - fun tool for sure!!

Enjoy your weekend- Beat2 found what he was looking for 😎

Testing my photography skills while enjoying my coffee ☕️ but also don’t want to overthink as it is the tool which has advanced rather than my skills 😉

Had the best time in Hyderabad- working & chilling at the same time. Music work advancing from good to great levels and catching up with old friends Pooja and Rishabh.

Priceless times with @vyasnikhil @poetry_of_flavours and @kunal_thanvi_07 and the best surprise @shibanibohra and I got to attend our favourite Sasha. Couldn’t have asked for anymore memories.

Super impressed by this city which was work in progress when i came years back and now it’s buzzing with so much energy. Just love it!!

Mumbai- here I come 😎

Immersed in Music 🎵

A walk 🚶‍♀️ break always helps to put things in perspective and recharge your ears and brain for listening in detail. In a great space currently and can’t wait to start sharing my work 🔜 😉

‘Quality Music Is Timeless’

No Sync | No Shazam | No Social Media | Only Music

DJ Beat2 Live at Evolve (2006)

A live recording from EVOLVE which was launched by Sanjay Dutta & Myself along with friends Arijit Basu & Priya Sen. A weekly affair on Tuesdays at the cosy H20, Khar (West), Mumbai.

I had just got my first laptop in 2005 and I started recording my sets to go back, have a mental map of the crowds response, check on the transition and sequence so I could improvise later. Little did I know, I could share this raw recording in future.

The idea was simple, push quality electronic underground music and also uplifting trance (back then) when the scene was dominated by Commercial & Bollywood music. The aim was not to replace anything but introduce cutting edge sounds, artists and experience for an audience hungry for it.

We had a great run- pure memories. The set has some technical glitches but that’s what makes it human. In a world of perfection, I am comfortable to put out the raw recording, just treated little bit for the basic dynamics. I remember the mixers channel was leaking and pitch bend had issues- but no stress, we used to manage and make sure we deliver close to perfection.

Hope you enjoy travelling back in time 🕰️ with me on this one 😎🔊

Set will be available Friday 23/01/26 at 5:30 🕠 pm IST on my YouTube channel 📺

Tracklist:
1) Tag Feat. Azukx ‎– The Arrahant (@lemon8_official Inner Sanctuary Remix)
