SOUNDS BLOODY GOOD 😎

My recent investment to the music production process has been the Audeze MM-500. It’s gotten me excited like I was when I had my first Denon Decks & Citronic Mixer like over 2 decades ago. The excitement & energy to be involved in the process and let creation happen is beyond imagination.

My recent release Space Debris as a part of Chasing Stardust EP was started on my Focal Spirit headphones and finished on the MM-500. I cannot express in words what it has done to my process. You can check out the results on

Premier : https://youtu.be/YLuJZQKq2DQ?si=XCa7XcT0sCtHptzS

Beatport : https://www.beatport.com/release/chasing-stardust/5455264

While on this, I’m finalising more music to be released on Moonphase by other artists.

Thank you @audeze_official for building such tools which assist in our creative process to explore different dimensions.

A shout out to the professional team at @modidigital for facilitating the seamless delivery of the product and being in constant touch post that too.

Exciting times ahead 😎

DJ Beat2’s annual love for releasing his sounds around ADE continues. This time are handpicked sounds which propel into different directions exploring various dimensions of his personality as a DJ/ Producer.

Chasing Stardust:

Starting energetically with ‘Chasing Stardust’, a robust bongo groove and icy pads draw the listener close before trippy arps and wild orchestration reveal their audio tale.

Space Debris:

‘Space Debris’ walks a more familiar progressive path. Wonky FX and a machine funk bass keep interest high as the sonics draw out the emotion.

Indolent Characters

‘Indolent Characters’ strides confidently with its tribal groove and off-kilter melodics.

Mastering: @pauljamesnolan
Cover Art: Jay Mavani (@jaymavs )

Words Fail, Music Speaks 🔊

As I dig deeper into musical dimensions - exploring & learning the more technical side of sound and how to engineer it, it makes me excited (and more) like a young chap who started exploring this field more than 25 years ago. After I took a step back from Events & Gigs, I had a lot of close friends, colleagues and followers who kept asking me when will I resume Deck Duties. Frankly, I don’t have an answer to that because of various reasons but the key is that I am trying to upgrade & update my craft in the back end to add a new feather in my work. I have finished projects for releasing and shaping new sounds for other artists to release on @moonphaserecords . I am planning to kick off a new online project too, which will be announced soon.

In short- I’m a work in progress- good things take time and I believe there is no shortcut to success, so the grind continues.

New tunes coming out soon- will need your support & encouragement like always. Shall keep you posted!!

Happy Weekend!!

Enjoy- 😊
