From one place to another, from one dancefloor to the next… this voice has travelled with me around the world. 🐪🌍

Proud to finally announce this collaboration with my talented brother @djdanjertn. His grooves gave this piece a new journey, allowing us to carry it from its roots to dancefloors around the world.

Over the past year, I’ve had the chance to play this piece inspired by the legendary Sabah Fakhri across different countries, cultures and crowds and every time, the reaction reminds me how music can travel far beyond where it was born.

Now, I’m happy to finally share our interpretation with everyone.

Sabah Fakhri (Original Mix) by @djdanjertn & @specialk.music is OUT NOW on all streaming platforms. 🎶

05 / SAADAWI ft. NASREDDINE CHABLI @djdanjertn 🇹🇳🐪

The caravan turns back toward Tunisia, where rhythm, heritage, and the spirit of the horse come together beneath Suhail. 🌟

Introducing DJ Danjer (Nejib Assali), a Tunisian-born, Canada-based DJ, producer, sound designer, and founder of SOLID Label. With more than two decades in electronic music, his sound bridges Oriental heritage, organic elements, and contemporary electronic culture.

For the Suhail Compilation, DJ Danjer joins forces with master percussionist Nasreddine Chabli to present “Saadawi / سعداوي” a deeply personal tribute to Tunisia’s ancestral and equestrian heritage.

Saadawi is an ancient rhythm from southern Tunisia, traditionally connected to horse training and deeply rooted in local folklore. Its rhythm accompanies the development of strength, endurance, and responsiveness, representing the powerful relationship of trust and harmony between horse and rider.

In this chapter of Suhail, an ancestral rhythm is carried forward into a new electronic landscape, preserving its cultural soul while allowing it to travel beyond its homeland.

Because every stop of our caravan carries a story, and some stories have been travelling through rhythm for generations.
