My first official collab with @canonnederland @canonbelgium
And it was a big one ⚡️

A while ago, I shared something with Canon that I felt was missing within photography and videography: understanding movement.

Especially when it comes to dance.

I brought this idea to Canon, and they were immediately open to it. They gave me the opportunity and trust to create a full workshop day around dance photography, videography and movement.

Something I definitely didn’t want to do alone.

So I asked three photographers I really respect, @brandonbroodje @jinkojoshu @ezme.jpg , to join me as coaches. Together we brainstormed, shared our experiences, and created a day with four completely different settings and scenarios, each focusing on a different way of capturing dance and movement.

Seeing it all come together was special.

A full day of creating, experimenting, sharing knowledge, asking questions, and most importantly, inspiring each other.

A big thank you to every photographer and videographer who came to learn, create, and be part of this day.

Thank you Canon for listening to my idea, believing in it, and giving me the opportunity to bring it to life.

Thank you Jinko, Ezmé and Brandon for building this with me and sharing your knowledge.

And of course, a huge thank you to all the dancers who brought the movement, energy, and creativity to every setting. Without you, we wouldn’t have been able to bring this concept to life.

Dancers:
@elsabecks
@kileydegraaf
@matchi_josephine
@yoeripham
@straydogshinshan
@famkevaneK
@selenamrh_
@ayshaketen
@brui5er_
@alyshalthompson_

Thank you for trusting the process, bringing your own style and energy, and giving everyone the opportunity to really explore what it means to capture movement.

Really proud of what we created together.

Hopefully this was only the beginning. ❤️

Movement deserves to be understood, not just captured.

@orokanaworld x @theathletesfoot x @zinindezomerfest x @officialcfamdancecrew

Big thanks to TAF for trusting us in this project and @bizzey for giving us this big stage.

But the biggest s/o goes out to @sharaseedenz @jeemsongram without their vision and ideas this wouldv still been an idea.

@officialcfamdancecrew @carltonmarkswalden showed up with the choreography and his amazing dancers ⚡️!

Maybe till next year 👀🤷🏽‍♂️.

Legends are born on the 16th 🎉🎂

I'm gonna type in Dutch now, use the translate button of u wanna know what i'm saying hi hi.

Good things never come easy right 🤷🏽‍♂️?

The future is bright, healthy and fit.

Dit type ik live om half 7 in de ochtend, liggend op het strand in Sint Maarten 🫶🏽
