My first official collab with @canonnederland @canonbelgium
And it was a big one ⚡️

A while ago, I shared something with Canon that I felt was missing within photography and videography: understanding movement.

Especially when it comes to dance.

I brought this idea to Canon, and they were immediately open to it. They gave me the opportunity and trust to create a full workshop day around dance photography, videography and movement.

Something I definitely didn’t want to do alone.

So I asked three photographers I really respect, @brandonbroodje @jinkojoshu @ezme.jpg , to join me as coaches. Together we brainstormed, shared our experiences, and created a day with four completely different settings and scenarios, each focusing on a different way of capturing dance and movement.

Seeing it all come together was special.

A full day of creating, experimenting, sharing knowledge, asking questions, and most importantly, inspiring each other.

A big thank you to every photographer and videographer who came to learn, create, and be part of this day.

Thank you Canon for listening to my idea, believing in it, and giving me the opportunity to bring it to life.

Thank you Jinko, Ezmé and Brandon for building this with me and sharing your knowledge.

And of course, a huge thank you to all the dancers who brought the movement, energy, and creativity to every setting. Without you, we wouldn’t have been able to bring this concept to life.
