No BAFTA for @yellow.shortfilm but that doesn’t stop me feeling like we won! 🏆

It’s been an incredible adventure and an immense honour for our film to be nominated for a @bafta and shortlisted for an Oscar by @theacademy.

It has been an incomparable privilege and something I’ll treasure forever.

So, my face graced the pages of @norwicheveningnews today! 🤯

Thank you for covering our story and helping us spread the word about @yellow.shortfilm and the ongoing plight of Afghan women. Help us bring an end to the gender apartheid in Afghanistan. Link to the article will be in my story.

You can help by:

1) Write to your local government representative about your concerns for the rights of Afghan women.

2) Donate to organisations who support Afghan girls and women. These include CARE, Women for Afghan Women, Afghanaid.

3) Be an ally and advocate for refugees in your local community.

Voting for @bafta nominations ends on 12th January. If you are a voting member of BAFTA, please consider us for British Short Film.

So weird to see 3 months of my life on one screen! I can't share much about this upcoming feature film at the moment but I am so proud of this score!

It's now off for live recording and mix and mastering before the project completes.

I can't wait to share more about it!

Creating tension with unconventional sounds! 🎼🔮

Excited to share some insight from a score I’m working on. To add depth and darkness to an upcoming feature film score, I’m using a Cristal Bachet in the lower register. It’s creates a fantastic grating almost metallic sound. I love it!

Can’t say I much now but stay tuned for more analysis once the film hits the screens! 🎵🎬

I love experimenting with different sounds and techniques to create something unique. What’s your favourite experimental film score moment?
