Lost Boys - Phoebe Bridgers - 2026
maybe the most elaborate and beautiful single I have ever gotten. kinda wonky cover(I put the back of the single first) but when you pull out the inner sleeve...it's die-cut and if you spin the record different images (images mentioned in the song) pop up. I never have seen anything like it. The song itself is brilliant, my favorite record in years. #phoebebridgers #lostboys #nevergrowup #45srule by @djjord

Samia - Honey - 2023
Samia Finnerty, creates moments on her records, lyrical and musical. what do I mean by "moments"? A moment is when you rush to pick up the needle and play that one again. Honey starts with a murder of the fiance of an exboyfriend. I won't ruin the line but will make you laugh and cringe at the same time.
you will say "Wait, what? listening to her. From New York. she has finally settled in Minneapolis (she has an excellent live set from First Avenue, digital only) and I always say once you move to Minneapolis you probably stay....cause Honey, it's all Honey.

The Iron Man the Musical by Pete Townshend -1989
you can find this cheap in used bins most places. (just make sure it has the booklet) John Lee Hooker sings! Nina Simone raps! Just having these two American Icons here is lovely. Hooker can sing. Lord Have Moicey! Over looked, but it's not because it's bad. oddly i dreamed this last night even more odd is I remembered this morning and put it on.
