I won the public vote! I owe an immense thank you to everyone who has supported me to this point.

I was nervous bringing my routine to the World Finals. I assumed such a new school routine would be polarizing. I honestly thought half would hate it, and half would love it. I’m so pleased with this result; I’ve never felt so artistically validated 🙏

However, the reason @dmcdjchamps is the best DJ competition in the world is that it’s judged like a competitive sport, and the most technical DJ (almost) always wins. I completely agree with and respect the Judges’ decisions and am happy to have come fourth to @djkswizz , @djfummy , and @erickjay

But I’m bloodthirsty now; I know what I need to improve on, I know what it takes to win, and I will be the first Australian World Champion at the 2024 DMC World Finals in Paris!

Unfortunately I won’t be defending the Aus DMC title this year. The last two years have been a dream, thank you to everyone who supported and inspired me. I’ll be back competing soon ✌️ by @djmaxbest

🤔 Have we grown to accept finger-drumming in DMC sets? 👍🏽 or 👎🏽

@dmcaustralia ‘s @djmaxbest was a Top 10 finalist in the 2024 DMC World finals thanks to his innovative style and energy.

Feeling beyond grateful for the last week with @great_escape_music_festival ✨️

It was our first time producing a fully independent stage lineup and production made up of incredible artists, behind-the-scenes operators and very good friends. Thank you so much for the trust! 🤝

When Tasmanian DJ Max Best won the national DMC competition earlier this year, he was chosen to represent Australia in the World Finals.

In November, he took to the stage in San Francisco, winning over the audience with his contemporary style.
