So I did a thing this year 🎧

I moved to Melbourne about 10 months ago, not really knowing what direction I was heading in & since being here I’ve met so many amazing people through different communities, especially around music, it’s honestly changed a lot for me.

I joined @yourshotau not just to learn how to DJ but to be around people who are all building something through music & community.

Music has always been part of my life growing up, I just never thought this is where it would take me. Now I want to create something that reflects my roots, my energy and where I’ve come from, training starts next week!

From zero to the stage in 6 weeks! Let’s go 🎉

What started as simply going to gigs and finding an escape after moving to Melbourne somehow became so much more. Through music, I found community, genuine connections, inspiration and people who reminded me what it feels like to enjoy life again. Being surrounded by so many talented and passionate people pushed me to finally try something I had always wanted to do myself.

📌 Now somehow I’m playing at YOUR SHOT Melbourne on June 20 at the Prince Bandroom!

It still feels unreal seeing my name on this lineup beside so many other talented people!

Trying to learn something completely new while balancing full time work, motherhood and everything else life throws at me hasn’t been easy at all, but somehow music brought a little bit of light back into my life when I really needed it most.

Thank you to everybody who’s supported me, encouraged me, sent me tracks, made me borrow their decks, believed in me, inspired me, motivated me & just simply reminded me that I’m still capable of becoming a new version of myself while choosing something I’ve always loved; music. So whether you’ve been supporting since day one or are only just hearing about this now, again; thank you ❤️‍🔥

Massive thank you to @yourshotau, @jblaustralia, @alphathetaaus, @redbullau & @smirnoff for creating opportunities like this for upcoming DJs and giving us a platform to do what we love. 🎉

Would genuinely love to see familiar faces in the crowd for my debut set. Tickets are on sale now! 🫶🏼
