Lovely to have ‘Sun Phase’ included in Rise Art’s lMonthly Top Picks: Best of November Collection @riseart

https://www.riseart.com/collection/1757/monthly-top-picks-best-of-november

Here’s where painting and sound collide - the energy of the colour yellow, a geometric pattern combined with the beats of electronic music that I mix as a dj - amateur @djphlo_ but love mixing and making sets to dance to and improve energy and mood. ‘Sun Phase’ by Pretty Girl, remixed by Human Movement @pgprettygrl @human_movement combined with the energy of this painting and so it was named after the tune!

Such a powerful and peaceful protest yesterday @palestinesolidarityuk marching to Downing Street to demand an end to the UK and this government’s @keirstarmer @david.lammy complicity in the genocide by lsrael. What were the police doing making so many arrests?

Free Palestine 🇵🇸 stop the bombing in Gaza, let aid get in and allow the Palestinians their human rights to food, water and safety on their land!

#Repost @queenofpalestine Hey you, yes YOU ❤️‍🩹🌻 #repost @ohbeautifulworld

➡️ It is ordinary people like you and me who tip the scales by inspiring other ordinary people. That is how movements grow and win.

The last days I see more and more starving children holding empty pots crying because of hunger. I have seen images of children already starved to death. Only because they are deliberately starved and deprived of food by fascists who decided that these children are not worthy to live. Imagine they are yours. I just can’t get my head around this fcked up reality.

I believe in your power and your goodness, even if you’ve never posted anything about Palestine. Never again for anyone - let’s all do what is in our power.

Today is International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People 🇵🇸 Show your support by putting up a poster to carry this message into every street and community in Britain - you can download it @palestinesolidarityuk and post on social media.

The struggle is long, but the resilience of the Palestinian people continues to inspire us. From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free 🕊️🇵🇸In solidarity

‘Did you spot this dress making its way around festivals this summer?

Here’s @euniceolumide taking it down the catwalk to open the Oxfam x @vinted Style For Change Runway on day one of London Fashion Week! 💚

Style for Change spotlighted the finest sustainable clothing with a show of all pre-loved clothes styled by the pioneer of thrifting, stylist @baygarnett.

The show took place as new Oxfam research reveals that two thirds of people – 65 per cent - in the UK own second-hand clothing, while one in 10 say the majority of the clothes they buy in the next 12 months will be second-hand.

With Second-Hand September in full swing, it’s time to dress for the world you want, for everyone, everywhere. Head to Oxfam’s online store to uncover some vintage gems, or get out there and support your local shop!

Thanks to the volunteers and festival goers who lent their stitching skills to bring it together!’
