Lovely to have ‘Sun Phase’ included in Rise Art’s lMonthly Top Picks: Best of November Collection @riseart

https://www.riseart.com/collection/1757/monthly-top-picks-best-of-november

Here’s where painting and sound collide - the energy of the colour yellow, a geometric pattern combined with the beats of electronic music that I mix as a dj - amateur @djphlo_ but love mixing and making sets to dance to and improve energy and mood. ‘Sun Phase’ by Pretty Girl, remixed by Human Movement @pgprettygrl @human_movement combined with the energy of this painting and so it was named after the tune!

Such a powerful and peaceful protest yesterday @palestinesolidarityuk marching to Downing Street to demand an end to the UK and this government’s @keirstarmer @david.lammy complicity in the genocide by lsrael. What were the police doing making so many arrests?

Free Palestine 🇵🇸 stop the bombing in Gaza, let aid get in and allow the Palestinians their human rights to food, water and safety on their land!

#Repost @queenofpalestine Hey you, yes YOU ❤️‍🩹🌻 #repost @ohbeautifulworld

➡️ It is ordinary people like you and me who tip the scales by inspiring other ordinary people. That is how movements grow and win.

The last days I see more and more starving children holding empty pots crying because of hunger. I have seen images of children already starved to death. Only because they are deliberately starved and deprived of food by fascists who decided that these children are not worthy to live. Imagine they are yours. I just can’t get my head around this fcked up reality.

I believe in your power and your goodness, even if you’ve never posted anything about Palestine. Never again for anyone - let’s all do what is in our power.

Come on down to @cuckoofarmstudios this weekend for Open Studios, Saturday and Sunday 11-5. There’ll be dancing in the Asparagus Shed on Sunday from 12-5 - I’ve got a lovely summery set from 12-1 if you can make it?

During lockdown, whilst it’s not been possible to start residencies, the space has been used to make music and art. On Saturday 20 March we're celebrating the vernal equinox with #kitchennights & exactly one year since the first Kitchen Nights, with perhaps what might be the last lockdown session! Huge thanks to everyone who has joined us and made the past 12 months more bearable and fun. Hope to see you for this session! Much love @djphlo_ XX Zoom Meeting ID: 825 0566 6533

We’ve been running Kitchen Nights regularly since lockdown in March from our kitchen. It has been fun to meet people and have guest DJs play! We’ve streamed on Facebook, Zoom and now YouTube ... we have something special for New Year’s Eve and will share it tomorrow.
