This is how Rahdu Does It.

This 14” × 14” × 8” LP box started with a customer’s idea and ended up as a one-of-one piece.

Black leather. Red interior. Silver hardware. A handmade, hand-stitched leather handle.

And the centerpiece? A photo of golfer, Charlie Sifford on the front, because that’s what makes a custom piece CUSTOM.

I enjoy the challenge of taking somebody’s idea, figuring out how to make it work, and then putting my own hands on it until it becomes something they can actually use and enjoy.

That’s RahduDidIt.

You bring the idea. I build it.

Got an idea for a custom 45 or LP box? DM me and let’s talk about it.

Sunday brunch + good music + High Dive? Yeah, It’s the move!

This Sunday I’m back at High Dive spinning your soundtrack for brunch from 11AM–2PM. No Cover

I’ll be moving through Jazz, Soul, R&B and plenty of those songs you can’t help but sing along to.

And if you’ve been to High Dive for brunch before, you already know the food is on point. Add some sunshine, good people and music coming through that HiFi system and that’s a pretty solid way to spend a Sunday.

Come thru and bring ya crew.

Who are you bringing with you? 👀

Sometimes organizing my 45s turns into practice. Most times, it’s (re)discovering songs I’ve forgotten about, Bsides Ive never played, or 45s Ive never worked into a routine. This “practice” began with playing a Nas remix Ive never played with Kool & The Gang stems which directed me into my soul bag.

This one felt like a complete thought, so I figured I’d share it.

Nas – It Ain’t Hard to Tell Remix
100% Pure Poison – Windy C
Vicki Anderson – Message to the Soul Sisters
Marva Whitney – I Made A Mistake Because It’s Only You

Worked out on 45s.

Peep me at High Dive for brunch Sun 10/11/26 and @suazeone will be at @highdive.bham this Sunday 10/4

Gettin my playlist together because I can’t make it to High Dive for the listening session to celebrate John Coltrane at 100, but if you can make it please do. Im sure it will be fun

Back in the day when I was learning about Jazz I made the the following Coltrane quote my Yahoo email account footer:

“You know, i want to be a force for real good. In other words, I know that there are bad forces, forces put here that bring suffering to others and misery to the world, but i want to be the force which is truly for good.”

Every DJ brings records.
But the records are only part of it.

What kind of VIBES are you bringing to the gig? 🎶

Because what you put in the box matters...

I’m feeling’ a blaxploitation vibe with this NEW @RahduDidIt box

This custom 12” box was built around that idea, with every letter hand-cut, & hand-stitched on the front. Message me for more info by @djrahdu

ATL STOCK AVAILABLE 👀

I brought 10 handmade vinyl storage boxes to Atlanta for Crafts & Crates and 2 found new homes.

That leaves me with 8 boxes available:

• 6 for 12” LPs
• 2 for 7” / 45s

Before I put these on Etsy, I’m giving my social folks first shot at them.

Every box is handmade and each one is a little different. If you’ve been looking for one, now’s a good time to grab it.

Check the photos and DM me if you’re interested in one. I’ll send pricing and details.

Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

A couple spots to catch me over the next two weekends 👇🏾

THIS WEEKEND — @highdive.bham

🎧 Saturday, Sept. 12
8PM–11PM

🥞 Sunday, Sept. 13 — Brunch
11AM–2PM

Two different days, two different vibes, same crates. Come hang out, grab a drink or some food, and let me handle the soundtrack.

Then next Saturday I’ll be heading to ATL for Crafts & Crates at Halfway Crooks with @RahduDidIt. The handmade vinyl boxes and I will be hanging out in Atlanta with some serious talent behind the decks.

Special DJ guests:
@Nicolay
@injex
@nabanibanks ani

If you’ve been wanting to check out one of the boxes in person, this is a good opportunity to come see them, talk records, and hang out.

Three different vibes. Three different reasons to pull up.

Hope to see some familiar faces — and meet some new ones. ✌🏾 by @djrahdu

VINYLCON ATL RECAP
Drove down to ATL for VinylCon weekend and whew...what a weekend.
Kicked things off at the pre-party spinning alongside @ox_the_architect , @bumrush45 & THE @diamondditc , and somehow the party got crashed by Hip Hop royalty @chiefrocker_busyb & @DJMeanGene. 😳
From there it was nothing but records, DJs, good people and ATL family all weekend long.
Hung out at the record show, listened to some DOPE DJs, met a bunch of new folks, reconnected with old friends, and—most importantly—sold some @RahduDidIt boxes! 🙌🏾
One of my favorite moments was reconnecting with John Manuel of RAMP and finally meeting @ezelpee, an artist/producer whose work has been responsible for more than a few of my favorite jams.
Had to bless him with The Biggie Box as a little thank-you for the music. 🙏🏾
And then...
👀 I got a commission from ANOTHER Hip Hop icon.
I’m keeping that one under wraps for now.
But I will share that info A$AP...😉
I’ll let them receive their box, post it, and then I’ll spill the beans.
VinylCon was good to me.
I’m well pleased, extremely tired, and already thinking about the next build.
Thank you ATL. Until next time. ❤️ by @djrahdu

A little color. A little character. A LOT of 45s. 🔥

This handmade 9” x 9” x 9” box is covered in colorful record label stickers and sealed with Mod Podge to help keep those stickers protected from peeling.

Finished with black hardware, a black hand-stitched handle, detachable lid for easy access, and a cushioned red interior.

Made for 45s. Built to last. Designed to be one of one.

And of course… you can put whatever you want in it. 👀

Custom boxes and commissions are available. Hit me up if you want me to build something specifically for you.
