🥊 Tonight our amazing friends at @nrc.agency and @nostalgiabox created an amazing 90s throwback gaming space for the Street Fighter Premier! 🎮

I seriously did not want this to end. Haven’t watched a martial arts movie where I could almost feel the impact of every punch! An action comedy that isn’t corny.
Avid Street Fighter fans - you will not be disappointed!
Definitely worthy to watch at the movies!

🚀 We had a fantastic experience at Amigo’s Tex-Mex, thanks to @explorewitherinmedia for the invitation!

From the moment you arrive, the colourful Mexican-inspired décor, festive sombreros set the mood!

🍹 We started with a colourful cocktail paddle board, beautifully presented and perfect for sharing. We then enjoyed a generous Mexican-style platter featuring crunchy nachos loaded with toppings and delicious quesadillas. You can choose your preferred spice level — mild, medium or hot — and we opted for medium, which was just right for us!

As you could probably tell, the Latin and South American soundtrack added to the fun atmosphere! I was totally in my element!

🎃 They’re going all out for Halloween and Día de los Muertos on 31 October and 1 November, with Mexican food, drinks, dress-ups and prizes for the best dressed.

The venue is large and spacious, featuring a beautiful outdoor setting and dedicated event space, making it ideal for celebrations, group gatherings and nights out.

💃 There’s also a FREE Bachata class every Thursday, 6:30–7:30 pm.

We enjoyed our visit and would happily return for more food, cocktails and dancing!

Our beautiful Hunter, who gave us so much unconditional love, cuddles and slobbery kisses and became my adopted child, has now crossed the rainbow bridge. It was all too sudden and I’m still processing. No words can describe the loss or the heart ache this is.
She had such a good life thanks to @paulsnoakes and I sincerely thank you, for all the love and care you gave her. No one could have done more for her than you did. I believe that 💯 and it makes it a tiny bit easier to know she had such a full life and was always spoilt and happy.
Hunters personality was soft and sweet. Always welcoming you with her teddy bears. She had a one track mind for food. She jumped on every couch cause it was her castle, and as a pup, ate about 2 or 3 of mine. She would rest her body or her head on you lovingly and look into your eyes. She had the most beautiful fur and ears like velvet.
She would bull doze any dog if they would mess with her buddy Max. She would selectively not hear you at the dog park and eat anything she found in the bushes.
I will love you forever Hunty Bunty, and I don’t want to imagine life without you 💔 by @djyanique

👑 The King and Queen of Maracatu

Did you know that Maracatu Nação, also known as Maracatu de Baque Virado, has a King, a Queen and a royal court?

This Afro-Brazilian tradition comes from Pernambuco, in Northeast Brazil, particularly the Recife region. Its history is connected to the coronation of Black kings and queens of Congo during the colonial period in Brazil.

Over time, Black communities in Pernambuco transformed these traditions into Maracatu Nação. The royal court became an important part of the procession, with the King and Queen at its centre.

The beautiful costumes of the royal court are inspired by European royal courts of the 18th century, reflecting the colonial context in which the tradition developed.

Today, the King, Queen and royal court remain an important part of the history and identity of Maracatu Nação. 🇧🇷🥁

We went to the premier of #heartofthebeast last night at @eventinnaloo! Anyone that loves dogs can understand the bond between Brad and his dog, Odie. While battling Austria’s wildlife, they only have each other to survive. And it just becomes more and more intense. But a beautiful homage to dogs used for combat.
