We love the fluidity and ease of the pieces in Nikos Koulis “Feelings”series.” Crisp white diamonds set in yellow gold, they are the epitome of sensual chic. “Sumptuous texture, ethereal mastery” is how they have been described. Rare, Spare, Iconic. The Elsa Peretti jug jar, rendered in tigers eye and eighteen carat gold. Peretti designed these in 1969 for the designer Giorgio di Sant Angelo as part of her desire to bring minimalist style to fashion.
Inspired by her time in Portofino where women wore gardenias, she designed these jug jars to hold a single flower. She was also inspired by small vases in old chauffered cars. Since their creation, these jug jars have been used to hold a variety of things( famously for illegal substances at Studio 54 in the seventies). We’ve seen these in gold, silver, black jade and ivory but never tigers eye.Eminently wearable, desirable, collectible. On a chunky 18 k gold chain. Top left: Jean Mahie seventies pendant earrings. Designed as sculptural drop earrings, each composed of a domed circular surmount within a radiating, irregular frame, suspending a large abstract plaque of organic jagged outline, the surface richly textured with a hand worked finish characteristic of Mahies primitive - inspired aesthetic. Mounted in 18 k yellow gold. Signed Jean Mahie. 2.875 X 1.625 inches. 19.8 grams. Clip backs (convertible), removable drops.

Top Right: Sean Gilson Ovoid earrings. Part of Gilson’s award winning Geometry Series, these are 20k yellow gold with 18k ear wires. Handmade with an aged finish.

Center: Vintage Pierre Sterle two tone eighteen carat gold en tremblant acorn earrings. From the late fifties, one inch long by 1/2 inch wide, 19.8 grams, signed Pierre Sterle. Clip backs but easily convertible. Highly collectible.

Bottom: Sean Gilson Pyramid Earrings from his award winning Geometry Series. As worn by Meryl Streep at the Academy Awards. Twenty carat gold with 18k ear wires, handmade with an aged finish.
